Why is it that on this forum in particular you always get two snotty answers for every helpful one? Or hardly any answers at all. I was about to start a post asking what the designers on this site consider an appropriate request and something they would respond to. I posted a request asking for feedback and only two people were so kind as to respond (they have my heartfelt appreciation!). PS: cdjr. I have been totally unsuccessful at getting the software you suggested to install - I tried it on my home computer and work computer and couldn't get it to work either time. Is there anything special you remember doing?

I have been thinking on how to improve upon this idea, and have come up with this suggetion: Since the puzzles pieces are not clear it makes it a little difficult to see directly where to cut your photo, so you could take the pieces of the puzzle you are planning to use to cut your photo with (no need to do this with the car body since it will be made of die cut paper, and is too large to cut out the photo's), and trace the shapes on some mylar-(clear stencil material), and then you would be able to see where to position the tire/window or whatever on you photo, so that it is cut in just the right spots. Thanks localeater. Co-co I'm definitely in the narrow clearance club. DH and I sweated every inch of that layout and installation, with some adjustments made along the way. In fact even today I asked the marble installers if they'd take a chunk out of the Caesarstone on either side of the range so it could be pushed in just a little bit more. They were nice enough to do that for me even though it had been installed by another company. As it turns out, we're very comfortable with all clearances except between the island and the fridge wall, which is a bit tight. The sink and stove clearances feel roomy, but then again I'm the only cook and DH is the clean-up guy so we're not usually on those sides at the same time. We're going to get lower/smaller stools at some point. Sink to island: 37" Range to island: 39" Fridge cabinets to island: 39" The grate is a trivet from Ikea. When I remodeled my kitchen last year, I ordered CS quartz countertop from Ikea during the 20% off sale. I believe I saved around 25% compared to quotes I got from local fabricator. I chose a solid white quartz so I didn't ask for looking at the slab. My kitchen wasn't ready for template when I order and Ikea let me place to order first to take advantage of the sale and just hold off the template appointment until I am ready. They said I can cancel and get full refund as long as the fabricator did not come to my house for template. Good luck!
