Transparencies what to do?

The office in which I work is closing, but before we are kicked out on our butts, we can take any office supplies we have use for. Well, there is a box of transparencies that I know will get thrown away if I don't take them, but I'm not sure what I can use them for. Can anyone give me any suggestions. Thanks!

Grab them and worry about it later!!
I got all sorts of stuff almost 20 years ago when an office closed. I have some red ones that I use for windows on cards. I would think someone has some good ideas for you.

This is a great chance to get a lot of good stuff. Don't forget the heavy duty staplers too haha.

You can stamp on them if you use a permanent ink like Brilliance, Staz-On, or some others I can't think of right now.
Look through the posts here in this forum. I posted something about the "caught-in-crystal"
technique where you apply tissue paper and inks and glitter with Future floor finish. You can use that for a luminary or just a card or wall art.
You can also use the transparencies for making stencils if they're not too thick.
Oh, and you can always sell some on eBay! :-)

Thanks both CaptRandy & Faron79. I wish I could post the picture here, CaptRandy. Fortunately, Faron, we haven't done the handrails & spindles yet... Well, it sounds like we'll have to live with it for now like Faron said. We'll stain the handrails & spindles with the natural brown-ish color which we'll use it for the whole deck next year. Is that a good idea? Since we live in a townhouse community, the HOA may not appreciate the outstanding bright green deck!! Honestly, I'd prefer no chemical if possible because I have couple of plant boxes & lots of plant pots down below. Just in case, if we going to sand it, what type of sander should we use/rent?

MM, the only concern is if you want to see through your clear tesserae or not, as in GOG. If not a GOG then if you use a clear adhesive, you will see the substrate color so it may need to be painted 1st or use white thinset to avoid painting the substrate.

Is it cold near the window? This can happen when a plant gets too cold, maybe freezes. The soil it's in is definitely not good for this kind of plant. You need something that's looser and airier, and dries out really fast. These plants root very easily, so get a new pot and some new soil (try some cactus and succulent soil mixed half & half with perlite ... you can get both at stores like lowe's or home depot) and start over.

Wow -- you must have good vision as well as a good camera. I've never seen worms as small as that, but I did spot chilli thrips with a ten power loupe when I was looking for them. According to this site nematodes range in size from .3 mm to 8 meters. Only a few of them are harmful to plants. Many are beneficial and even prey on the harmful ones so I wouldn't worry about them. If no one here comes up with an answer as to what they are you might want to post your question and photos on the Insect Forum where some entomologists hang out. They, of course, are much better educated on the subject.. Please let us know when you find out anything. I am very curious. By the way those are great looking tomato seedlings!

I use transparencies to make ornaments. I made a template of circles, then I print photos or graphics/words, etc. to fit inside the circle. Cut them out, roll up and slip into a clear ornament & they open. I tie them with clear fishing line so they "float" inside the ball. I've made baptism ones for the babies at church, for confirmation, etc. along with Christmas, etc.

I was just looking at a site someone posted a while back and there are a couple of neat things with Acetate and maybe

Bring up the site and then look at the TOM (Technique of the month)
