Your picture isn't coming up on my computer. Is this it?

If so, I recognize the kitchen. It was on the cover of BH&G Kitchen and Bath Ideas February 2011. I copied pictures of the kitchen, but I don't have a copy of the sources page. Someone else may have it, though, and can look it up.

I'm currently obsessing over kitchen pendants, and if I see those I will let you know. They are pretty!

I have that magazine here in front of me and all it says is that the lighting in the kitchen is from Circa Lighting. I've searched the Circa catalog online and don't find any pendants exactly like those. So perhaps they are discontinued. You should be able to find some that are similar.

The kitchen designer is Chet Atkins of Chester & Chester inc. at chesterandchester.com.

Hi All, Funny that "Kitchen and Bath Ideas" mag wrote "Chet Atkins" in the back of the magazine. The architect/designer of the kitchen was Todd Atkins.

Where did the pic go?? It was there in my preview. I post pics all the time! How strange! Thanks for the info. I'll see if they still make them. If anyone knows of any similar, let me know!

Perhaps I'm just being cranky but am curious as to what is the attraction of this fixture? I see a number of "industrial" style ones similar to this on the GW kitchens forum; this has more distinction because of the long snout, but still, why choose this one? Is it the severity? The metal? the external fittings? A need for a 'masculine' element? irony?

I am starting the pendant search, too, and will need help....

These likely are manufactured by Visual Comfort, and sold by Circa (a lighting store). You can check out Visual Comfort's products at www.visualcomfort.com, use username demovc and password pictures. I think this is a light that can be purchased with different type/styles of shades (metal, glass).

It's not a big deal. I saw the pendant and found it interesting. A lot of people ask similar questions here. We have 10' ceilings and I'd like to do narrower pendants, possibly 7-9" in width. It's not the metal as we're probably going with the bronze finish in whatever pendant we choose (not definite, but that's my thought). I don't see these as being any more masculine than any other industrial pendant, just styled differently. Other pendants I've been considering:

So you can see I've been all over the board and am just looking at different options at this point. We're due to be in our house in June. I'm going to have to make my mind up at some point. So when I see something that catches my eye, I try to find out about it, whether it ends up in the final running or not.

Circa, Aspen and the mercury glass are pretty awesome choices,IMO.

I have the Landmark hallophane ones and they are beautiful.
