Florantha, It's not a big deal. I saw the pendant and found it interesting. A lot of people ask similar questions here. We have 10' ceilings and I'd like to do narrower pendants, possibly 7-9" in width. It's not the metal as we're probably going with the bronze finish in whatever pendant we choose (not definite, but that's my thought). I don't see these as being any more masculine than any other industrial pendant, just styled differently. Very unique. I've never seen a rug like that anywhere, but I did find some with a similar feel by Googling "black white tribal wool rug". Something about this design suggests Australia to me (couldn't tell you why), though indeed several rugs from Australian websites came up on that search, for what it's worth. Also saw things on Overstock, Houzz and Rugsville that had a vague resemblance.
