Kristi, the flower is so short you can't see the flower!! ;-)

It is what I grew up calling a dewberry. Is a relative of the blackberry/raspberry family. Makes wonderful berries if you can beat the birds to them. Ours were much larger than most berries.

I've never seen a mature climbing lavender rose. With the blue sky as a background I think it would be effective. Love yours!
