Hi all, my son hijacked the computer the last couple evenings, but now it's mine!!! Had the dr appt yesterday morning & the dr was guessing it is either sporotrichosis or shingles. We decided it was sporotrichosis and I got a prescription. Late afternoon his office called & said the lab sample showed it was not a fungus. So ... guess it's shingles. However by bedtime my arm wasn't hurting anymore and lump in arm is gone. I'm going to finish off the pills anyway. 12 pills cost $92. So I am determined they are helping me! Just doesn't make sense to me to get shingles exactly where I pulled out stickers from that weed. They said the test results for shingles would take perhaps a week. I thot I'd spend more time reading up on shingles -- like if it could make your whole arm acke... It is a scary thing when you don't know what's going on & something going thru your body and not getting to see a dr for 5 days! Thank you all for thinking of me. But anyway, I'm glad I don't have the swine flu like Dan!!! Very sorry to hear of your misery, Dan. I'm starting a list for my next shopping trip -- chicken soup, chlorox, Sudafed ... And I am happy to report some more bd greetings arrived! Chellflower sent me Colombine Nora Barlow, something on my wish list for a long time! Greatly appreciate it! Karen, your new pink tree is great. So glad you and Mollie had a great shopping day and lunch. She looks like she could be your little SIS alright and alot of fun. You found so many neat things. All your bunnies and trees are darling. I love your Big laying down bunny and that tea pot bunny is cute. Reminds me of the saying "Give Hugs if You Carrot All". Better watch that chocolate egg in the urn. It looks good enough to eat. The vintage sparkly egg w/the inset is so neat. Now on to the ROSES. I figured the singers were family and had guessed 3 of them. I never figured that particular group of gals to get together, but glad they did. Our family is made up of a number of excellent harmony singers, some even try to sing off-key in harmony when they all get together! Or, the song You Are My Sunshine? Sharon, what is happening at your house that you have to cat proof? What did I miss???? lol Giving the cradle to the new generation of youngsters is so very heart warming. You should somehow attach a plaque of the names and dates as you know them of those who have been given this cradle. Your hubby can do this easily & creatively - he has the talent! I have been so busy w/ life, I can't even get my goals in any order.....but what absolutely has to get done is: My first goal was to say "No" to Thanksgiving ~ check! (yay) I'm the only one happy with that announcement :) I had a sewer pipe break (probably been broken -15 feet down for many years)so I am trying to get thru the bureaucratic carp to get my driveway, all the sidewalks, curbs, street, replaced. The break was on the county side - another big yay! Messy, inconvenient, and time consuming. I have to bind the Salvation Army kid quilt due Beginning of Dec - and make or buy some clothes to dress the bear. I want to bind the Goodbye Irene Jelly Roll Race quilt-got it quilted - just because I needed something I'm keeping to quilt before I quilt the gifts - its been awhile and I felt I needed to get back into the groove. I want to finish the Jelly Roll King Size quit I started at retreat. I need to press 2 sections and sew all 3 sections together. I have to finish the Snowglobe quilt - it gets mailed for Christmas. I also have to piece the backing. I have to quilt and bind the Crab 9 Patch Pizazz quilt- the backing is already pieced and ready. Also gets mailed with the snowglobe quilt. I have to quilt the 2 9 Patch Pizazz quilts - one I put together at Retreat and the other I finished at Retreat. They are both Christmas presents. I want to make 2 aprons and a few potholders using Jayne's idea of a pocket (for a gift card) and attach a utensil. This is last. Maybe make a few tissue holders and a tea bag wallet thing. Since I'm not doing Thanksgiving - I'll have more time - that's my theory.
