I play a little each night. I received a rare gift tonight, a Clydesdale ... and don't know how to get him and take him home. Any ideas?

I've received some gifts that I can't claim unless I go through a process of adding & sending to friends through a different application. Never works for me, darn it.

Can you play without it announcing to the world on facebook. No I've never played because I don't want my friends to "hide" me.

I've never played, because I don't want to get addicted, lol! I do hide all the games I see - you can just hide the game and not your friend, if that helps, Kim. Since I don't play, I don't know if you can hide your own playing...

I play...I am addicted! It's alot of fun! I also play other games, too.

They were discussing this on the news last night about what an addiction it is. I have a number of friends that play, but I spend way too much time on the computer as it is, so don't want to get on that.

Phyllis, I heard the same news report about Facebook game addictions. I avoid them.

On another board I post at several members have become addicted to some Fishing game and the posts about this game have overtaken the board. I can't believe these people are so obsessed. This is all they talk about. What about their real lives?

kim, when you do things that typically make an "announcement" on your wall, you can just choose to skip that part. For example, say you earn enough points to get to another level, this little screen pops up saying Congratulations, you've advanced (or something like that) and says something about sharing it with everyone. There's a button that says I believe SKIP. If you choose that, it will just skip that whole process and never post anything to anyone. So as long as you do that for everything, nobody will even see you're playing.

I don't play any games on Facebook. I just use it to stay in touch with family and friends.

I do not play games on the computer. I do have two daughters that do play something. They call each other at all hours about this and that. I think one is addicted, the other is not. :)
