Anyone have that restaurant.

Says gourmet burgers!

Just found one the other day, on the other side of town.

Didn't eat there, but their commercials sounds like a good place to go.

Anyone have a favorite there?

Their Teryaki burger is great! Love their unlimited fries too!

Oh yeah. I love their Banzai Burger. It's a burger marinated in teriyaki sauce and comes with pineapple and cheddar cheese along withe rest of the fixings.

I order mine with jack or pepperjack instead of cheddar.

Their burgers are big. I usually substitute fruit for fries.

Wow!!!! Mr. Robin sure is looking robust. I imagine that he is ready to share the gene pool!! I love the Titmice photo. I know that they seldom sit in one spot for long, and a capture like this is wonderful. If birds could have ADHD, they would be on the ADHD bird list!! :o) That other bird isn't in any of my field guides. May need to send that one on for an expert ID!!

Darn. I have a favorite Manhattan (red). I make one like this but this sounds better with the bacon. I'd chose thyme over dill plus 1/4 tsp crushed fennel seed and a clove of garlic. 1/4 c. dry white wine is an option. And never never do I simmer clams for 45 min.! 5 min. in the hot soup is plenty. Posted by shaun (My Page) on Mon, Jan 11, 10 at 21:16 I tried a new recipe tonight that was originally posted by gardengrl on 2/5/09: Awesome Clam Chowder 6-7 pieces bacon, cut into small pieces 1 med onion, chopped 2 (5 ounce) cans baby clams, with juice reserved 1 bottle clam juice 5 potatoes, peeled and cubed into 2" chunks 2 (10 1/2 ounce) cans cream of celery soup 1 cup heavy cream 1 cup milk 1 1/2 Tb butter 1 tsp dried dill weed (if you don't have dill weed, use thyme) 1 tsp pepper Salt to taste Add bacon to dutch oven and cook on medium heat until crispy. Add onion and cook until translucent. Add clam juice from both cans of clams plus bottle of clam juice. Add potatoes, bring to a simmer, and cover until potatoes are fork tender (about 15-20 minutes). Stir occasionally so potatoes won't stick. Add *clams*, soup, cream, milk, dill weed and stir together. Add butter and let melt into the chowder, then add pepper. Simmer for about 30-45 minutes or until thickened. Stir occasionally and add salt to taste. The only thing I did different was, I added some fresh garlic to this soup. This is really a delicious chowder and very easy to make. *clams are going to toughen --- add 5 min. before done.

I am happy to address some of your issues but the Container Gardening forum is not likely to get you much additional input. What is going on with your shrubs has nothing to do with any issues pertaining to container gardening or using or replacing with container soil mixes. If you find my comments not fully helpful, I'd strongly suggest you repost this in the Shrubs or even the Soils and Compost forum. Redtip photinias, Photinia x fraseri, is known to be tolerant of clay soils - in fact it is included on lists of plants recommended for clay. So I doubt the issues with your plants are confined to their being planted in clay. Unless the clay does not drain adequately. And as you indicate the hedge is established for privacy, I am assuming they have been in place for some time so you would have noticed drainage problems - like puddling or standing water for periods of time - before now. It is seldom practical or cost effective to remove and replace soil. And typically unnecessary as well. One amends the soil, adding to existing soil whatever amendments/soil additives may be necessary to affect improvement. With clay, that usually means adding the generous quantities of organic matter I mentioned in my previous post, to both lighten or loosen the soil and improve drainage. Using these products as a topdressing can help but it is not as efficient a method or as fast as incorporating the OM into the existing soil. Unfortunately, that means you need to remove the current hedge to do so. As an aside, if you were to replace the soil, you would need to do the same thing, so I am assuming you are not adverse to that. FWIW, if that's the plan, I'd consider some alternatives to the redtips, perhaps even one of the California native plants commonly used for hedging, as they tend to be well-adapted to both your climate (and drought) and native soil conditions, including pH.. And will generally have less issues than the redtips, which are plagued by some serious disease issues that are significantly reducing their suitability for landscape plantings in much of the US. Your plants are definitely stressed - the mites and the chlorosis are clear indications. The clay may or may not have much of a bearing on this - it's almost impossible to say for certain without seeing the plants and the site in person. It could just as well be that these particular shrubs are just not well suited to your situation. One thing I would suggest is to bring in a horticulturist for an onsite consultation - your extension service or better garden center should be able to give you some referrals. These folks are experienced and skilled in evaluating plants for both siting and cultural issues as well as diagnosing insects, diseases and nutrient problems. I know these sorts of folks exist as this is a significant part of what I do for a living :-) If you do care to repost on another, more relevant forum, please include photos of the entire hedge and at least one plant in its entirety, as well as any detail photos. The more we know about the situation, as limited as that might be just via photos, the better the advice you will receive. And include exactly where you are located and how these plants are watered and the frequency.

There are a couple in memphis that have been there about a year. I haven't been to one yet, but some co-workers went and really liked it. They said it was expensive for a hamburger though. I don't know how much the burgers were or what they consider expensive.

We love Red Robin burgers!

My hubs' favorite is the Bleu Ribbon Burger -- "A juicy burger basted with a tangy steak sauce and topped with crumbled Bleu cheese. Served with onion straws, lettuce, tomatoes and zesty Chipotle mayo on an onion bun." $8.99

My favorite is the Red Robin Bacon Cheeseburger -- "We claim this to be the best bacon cheeseburger in the city, state, nation and all the world! We go once in a while. The burgers are good and they have a huge variety....you'll probably find something for whatever you are craving at that moment. Make sure you get the fries too. I wouldn't call Red Robin "gourmet" by any stretch...just alot of variety. If you are looking for a quiet place, this isn't it. Family oriented and not for those with a headache. They pretty much have something for everyone if you're feeling the need for some greasy food. Don't get me wrong...I'm not bashing...I like their stuff at times....just not ALL the time.

My dd worked at one by us for a few months..ate there once, it's ok, had a Margerita (sp!!) wasn't that good..she now works at a Buffalo Wild Wings, like that better deb

I miss Red Robin sooo much!

When my friend was pregnant we used to go at *least* once a week. Our favorite is the burger with the fried egg on it. Sounds really weird, but it is so yummy!

Burger with a fried egg? Main Man ordered a Hamburger in France and he said it was really good, but it had a fried egg on it. That is the first time I've heard of that one.

I haven't eaten at a RedRobin, but my favorite Burger is With Swiss, Bacon, Avocado, Bean Sprouts and Beef. I get it at SRO's Sports Bar.
