anyone else having trouble with KT site?

Or any GW Site? I get here ok but then in order to scroll down to read posts etc I have to keep hitting the refresh button. I think the other day some were having this problem

Alisande, I don't know about the tabs and refresh, but holding down the CTRL key while scrolling will change the font sizes on your screen. Scrolling down makes it smaller, scrolling up makes it larger. Could your CTRL button be stuck?

I usually don't have a problem checking in; except when I am asked to re-do my name etc. I am having difficulties viewing the photos that are occasionally included here. I think it is a problem 'this end' as we have so much anti-spyware on the computer. I had to go to Internet Explorer to see the recent pics . . .which I enjoyed looking at. ;-)

I just gave up...... After having a Gardenweb account since forever, since back when it was an offshoot of the "Parent Soup" channel thing at AOL.back in the mid-late 1990's and was still doing the same thing at the various changes and new corporate whatevers and never had an issue before or after changing my email address to Gmail in April 2004. I finally just entered a new account name at the same exact email address I have maintained since April 2004 and seemingly have either no "old" account or the new account has no conflict with the old. The old just not being able to "sign in". I have been doing this sort of thing since 1990 before even AOL back when "online" was a BBS running off of a hot rod 2400 Baud modem plug in card on an Apple IIE. I have never been one tobe concerned with site appearances, but the Huuzz scheme fonts colors layout everything, is absolutely horrendous. Just my $.02 worth..... YMMV

Yep, lots of problems--All the threads are on a narrow column to the left---Have to refresh constantly---sign in a lot! Its really irritating!

I can't even log in on the decorating forum. Here I just reply to a post and I log in but over there it's a nightmare.

well if you guy aren't having trouble.....don't tell....please. If they think we are all having trouble maybe they'd fix it...lol

yea, have to refresh and leave my curser on the side. Don't know that it helps but something seems to work when I do that.

Most often after I open 1 or 2 threads, then it will take a looongg, LONGGGG time to open the next thread or even go to another GW forum. I find it VERY aggravating.

For the ones having trouble, what browser(s) are you using? What firewall? Spywareblaster? Any filters, modified hosts files or anything? What maintenance regiment are you using? How often do you scan for malware, viruses and the like? Doing Windows Updates regularly?

Just usinging the theory if enough people tell their doctors they don't feel well they'll make us all well again isn't very practical if you want it to get better.

Sometimes it's better to use the old joke as the philosophy - It hurts when I do this... then don't do that! Maybe you need to do something about the condition instead of expecting them to do everything?

Ocassionaly, I am missing the right hand scroll bar. I have to reload the page to fix (using the refresh button at the top of the browse frame). It is happeneing on other Garden Web forums, too.
