I found it rather boring; I wasn't impressed, but that's just my opinion.

I'm not a fan, but the sound system seemed lousy on TV. Like something wasn't working properly.

I'm comparing it to last year's Black Eye Peas so it was awesome. Other than that, it was sort of bland. I like Cee Lo and LMFAO. All they brought was star power.

I thought it was pretty impressive... I'm guessing it was lip syncing though? Seemed "too perfect" to be live.

Entertaining, glad they had several entertainers including C Lo, and LMFAO and did a good selection of songs. Looked very professional.

I thought it was just okay, I'm not a huge Madonna fan but thought she did a good job. But I agree, it was boring.

Another vote here for boring. It was an exercise in narcissism and even with the dancing it seemed to lack energy. Her Cleopatra entrance was beautifully choreographed though. But I didn't like her new single "Give Me All Your Luvin" - talk about ego stroking. It was all about her. ..and then when the stage went black and the words "World peace" appeared it seemed a rather odd juxtaposition.

She did an amazing job especially considering she is 53 YEARS OLD!!!

I thought it was great! none of that screeching or jazzing up songs so you can't even recognize them anymore.Her voice sounded great and I thought it was very tasteful!!

I didn't see this, but newscasters and some websites (CBS website, other sites and my local affiliate) are saying that the female singer M.I.A. (don't know of her work myself) gave the middle finger when she was on camera and mouthed the related word.

Hope she's getting something good out of her bet.

And I hope Madonna whips her @$$ for that.

I've never cared for Madonna, but I thought she did it nicely, tastefully...probably why it was boring. ;)

Madonna is not my favorite, but I thought it was a great show. I really enjoyed it.

I left the room at half-time and didn't see any of it. I also missed the commercial with Betty White which my husband said was a good one.

I admire Madonna's talent, though I wouldn't call myself a huge fan.

However, I enjoyed her Super Bowl performance much more than I expected to.

Her voice sounded pretty, the dancers and acrobats were quite good and I really liked the choir at the end with Cee-Lo Green.

For the time she has to work with all the other singers and for wearing decent outfits, I was satisfied. The sound system wasn't very good for TV but the songs were good IMO.

I'm not her biggest fan but I thought it was pretty amazing how well polished it was. A lot of practice and work.

I used to love Madonna but dislike her now...especially after her last interview commenting about thinking Lady Gaga just copies her and seemed to be way too full of herself. I'm not a huge Lady Gaga fan, but she is indeed this generation's "Madonna", and Madonna just seemed jealous that she is becoming a thing of the past. Well, sorry, but time moves on, and time to step aside and let the young performers make their mark too. Madonna definitely paved the way for performers like Gaga but I think she needs to move aside now.

Don't get me wrong, I loved Madonna back in the day, but I think she just thinks too much of herself and is terrified about being "replaced".

Regarding the show, it was pretty good...I really like Cee Lo Green, and was happy Madonna did some of her old songs.

I thought she was lousy. If she was still good enough on her own, she wouldn't have needed all the other famous singers to help with the show; but rather make herself shine solo. My favorite was the last song though. But, all in all, a boring half time show. I think she was lip syncing....and her new song is not good at all.

I don't think she was lip syncing at all. In vogue... she said Gene Kelly twice... don't think in the song he is listed twice.

I thought she did a good job... the heels need to go. I think she wouldn't have slipped as much if she had a regular heel on. She slipped of the bleachers a couple of times.

She sounded flawless BECAUSE IT WAS LIP SYNC'd. I have no desire to watch live music that isn't live. If I want to go to a dance recital there are plenty of those around.

As a professional musician it just sends me.

I saw an interview Saturday morning with one of the guys from the Black Eyed Peas. He was asked what advice he would give Madonna. He said "practice your lip syncing" and chuckled. I took that to mean they all do it. I have never been a fan, but she sure looks good for her age!

I didn't think it was a good choice. More like the worship Madonna halftime show and that's not much of a song.

Otherwise,yes,she does have a lot of energy. And the electronic look (lighting) was well done. I thought the World Peace at the end didn't mesh with the rest of the performance at all.

well the guy balancing on a wire was awesome, lol...it was, at best ok...lets face it trying to cram stuff into a 15 minute venue is hard...should have spent more time singing and less time being dragged in like liz taylor in the movie...

I loved it although it was definitely not as high energy as Madonna usually is. I am really glad she stuck to her old school roots and did the older songs, that's what her fans want. Her new song is too teeny bopper, reminds me of a Katy Perry song and the cheerleading bit was dumb but overall I thought it was really good, especially considering they had about 7 minutes to put up and take down the whole thing.

I was pretty sure she was lip-syncing and the paper this morning confirmed it. IMHO, it was a little awkward in the beginning but got better later. 53's not that old, BTW. Steph, I read it took 9 minutes to set up and 9 to take down. Go figure! I don't know why anybody thought of timing it, but 7 minutes would've been pretty awesome.

I think Susanjf said it best, they tried to cram too much in a small period of time.

I enjoyed it. I was not a Madonna fan in the 80's, and didn't expect to enjoy this show. Maybe it was just the nostalgia factor, but I did.
