Comments (7)I don't think Corian is supposed to yellow at all. I've never heard of it. Thousands of people have posted about their white Corian, and nobody's ever mentioned yellowing. And yes, Corian is a VERY different plastic than light-switch plastic. My white-on-white Venaro White counters (Corian) are only about 3 years old, and they look as good as new. (speaking of plastics yellowing, I was noticing that my 1983 sewing machine, and its plastic case, have weird yellowing--the body of the case is totally yellow, but the handle and the latch are still pretty creamy. They're both plastic--but obviously different plastics. Same is true on the machine itself--The decorative plate on the front has gotten a little creamier (doesn't match the paint on the metal anymore), but some other plastic piece is VERY yellow). So not every plastic yellows...See MoreQuartz looks yellow in newly remodeled bathroom
Comments (25)Try actual lighting stores for the LED bulb. I was surprised to learn that one of the online LED sites is quite close by me and I could drive there and pick up my order. It was in a light industrial park, where no one would be looking for a a store, but it had counter service and a few displays. Maybe you will find something like this near you....See MoreQuartz yellowing around air switch
Comments (9)I have a white quartz counter in my kitchen and have had good success removing stains (red wine, turmeric, blueberry, etc) that don’t come out using just plain soapy water. Here is what I do. I mix warm water and baking soda into a paste consistency. I apply it pretty thick, let it sit maybe 10-15 minutes, and then scrub it with a blue scotch brite non scratch sponge. If it doesn’t get the stain out completely, I’ll do it a second time. I don’t know why you got that yellow stain either, but I notice I get a similar yellowish tan stain right around the base of my polished stainless steel faucet and the soap pump. It bugs me, because I am constantly cleaning around it. Several times a day if I wanted to make myself really nuts! I still have to do the baking soda paste thing every week or two to get it completely white again. I have yet to find the perfect countertop. Actually, I think my formica kitchen was the easiest to maintain. 😬...See Morecaliente63
