Floor stain-anyone use EarlyAmerican by Minwax?or PolyX?

Hi Everyone,

I've read on GW for a long while and have learned so much. I am now posting a question about our flooring - we are doing an addition (kitchen/family room and master suite.

We have white oak flooring in the addition and I've decided that I want more of an antique look to it. In our existing house we have 1960's narrow strip oak flooring that is stained a golden oak color- it is the typical orangish color that you see. I don't want more of the same orange though in the addition.

Has anyone used either Minwax or Cabot "Early American" color? If so could you please post photos. This color is close but not quite exactly what I want. It doesn't have enough "warmth" to it.

Also, I've read about Osmo brand Poly-X. Has anyone used that as an alternative to polyurethane? Do you like it and would you use again? I would love to learn more about it.
