OH Kathleen!!! You just make things so special!! I love the little tuxedo boxes and the dish for the Strawberry trifle is fabulous.

Every little detail is just so elegant. Pat yourself on the back, you did a great job.

More like give myself a transfusion! Yes, I did make everything myself. They didn't know the dinner was in their honor, so they were surprised to see all the wedding related things. The little boxes, ring scatters on the table, rings tied to the goblets, and the cake topper were all from the Dollar store!
Terri, the sides..spag squash, olive oil grated cheese, s&p, and bread crumbs on the top, and then baked.
The trifle is a pound cake, yep, I baked it, strawberry sauce, strawberries and vanilla pudding. The banana pecan is my banana recipe I think I already gave you, and lots of roasted pecans. Fresh whipped cream with some Whip It as extra stabilizer.
Nancy, if they make it to 75, I won't be giving the party, LOL!
And thank you, all, they are a delightful couple, and long time friends.

Annie, I let the hydrangea dry a few days first. I have done it several times for arrangements. I LOVE getting free flowers..they make a good filler so you don't have to have so many others!
When you get married I'll make your centerpieces for you..or I would if I lived near..:(
Shelley, we are lucky to have them as friends. DH had a stroke when he was 53...he was an avid skier, ball player etc. You know who your friends are when they stick by you through the bad times too, and this group did.

Holy Cow. I can't believe what I'm seeing! Kathleen you are amazing. That table setting is so elegant and inviting at the same time. The food........ my mouth is watering and I'm not even hungry.

kathleen, just thinking about making centerpieces is good enough for me, LOL. The wedding will be extremely small with immediate family and Elery and I will do our own cooking.
