I attended a performance of this group in San Francisco - absolutely amazing performers! It's definently a performance I would recommend that everyone see if they can.

They were in our area two weeks ago. I wanted to go so badly, but they were at 3:30pm on Wednesday and at 3:30pm and 7pm on Thursday. I couldn't check Anna out of school either of those days because of tests. Any other day than those would have been fine. :( The 7pm one was on a date where Anna had to lead a class in swords weapons at the martial Arts school she goes too. I told her the next time they come I don't care what's going on; something's going to have to give so we can see it.

The humble start of these fellows back in Montreal, has spiraled into an amazing company that they are today. I remember seeing them back in the 1980's around the time they started performing in and around Quebec, and they have gotten so much more refined and entertaining since then.

They are absolutely fantastic. If you have a chance to see them....go, you won't be sorry!

Saw once in Biloxi! Fantastic!

We saw Saltimbanco last August, it was fantastic! They actually came to our small province. I had wanted to see them for years and never thought I would get the chance.

now you make me sad I missed them when they came to Atlanta...I'll have to try again...I think it's just wonderful you did this as a group! What could be more fun then the whole family going!!

I'm hoping I get to see Cirque Du Soleil someday. I've seen them perform on TV several times. It is on my "list".

My Grandmother had a nac for getting us tickets for family outtings like that. It makes wonderful memories.

Oh, I'm so jealous, Sue. We would love to see them, but doubt if they'll ever be in our neck of the woods. We've seen them on video and are just enthralled by them. I'm glad you had fun and got great seats, how cool was that!?!

We've seen Saltibanco, Alegria, Dralion and KOZAA here is San Francisco. We've seen "O", Mystere, KA and LOVE in Las Vegas. They are marvelous shows. The only one I would not see again in Mystere, which I thought was kind of hokey.
If you ever have a chance to see a Cirque, go.

But for you all who haven't seen any of the productions yet, google and find out when they will be in a nearby town/city/ metropolis/village within driving distance. Make a holiday of it. It is so worth seeing.

Rita, saw my eye doc a couple weeks ago. I could tell there had been a change in my vision, so I will be having some more tests. My "good eye" is 20/30, the cataract eye is 20/70. Bummer. But I can still drive!! lol

I've seen Dralion and one other. They are so amazing and magical! I'm still can't believe people can perform like that, plus the music and costumes! Even my DH who normally doesn't go for stuff like that was impressed!

Speaking of the circus, we took DD to a Barnum & Bailey show last year and they added a group of young guys who do a Cirque-like show! Guess they have to keep up

Joe is doing pretty good. His work changeds their insurance though, from a PPO to an HMO, so now in order for Joe to see his eye dr. he has to start all over and get a referral, and they probably won't approve it. They will want to send him to someone in "the network" Joe had an appointment last week, but he cancelled it.
I am just thankful that he had good coverage when he had the surgery done. Thanks for asking. Glad to hear the you are doing o.k.
