We just have a little bit left here and there...in
the shady spots or on the north side. That is left
from Monday.
It has been cold for over two months. We usually
have some nice days during the winter, but not this
year.
This is Mississippi...not fair to be so hot in the
summer and have a bad winter too.

It's weird, because here in Southern Ontario, the weather has been warm, for our standards, and we've had relatively little snow. There are flurries right now, but I haven't missed our usual winter weather!

If I shared any, it wasn't more than a flake or two from what I can see in my yard!!! Sorry you're now getting hit as I know you usually get a lot more than we do here in Ohio.

I guess I live in a "no snow zone". It snowed several years ago in my hometown of Corpus Christi, Texas but we moved here in 1989 so I missed it. Didn't snow here. This week it snowed north and east of us. San Antonio had snow. Didn't snow here. I'm not really complaining this year as my arthritis is acting up and the cold doesn't help. I'm just grateful for the favor. In all honesty it's only snowed about 4 times in my lifetime in my area. I have exposure but had to travel to be there. Al Gore didn't tell us it was going to get colder before global warming sets in. lol

I am still amazed! First they said an inch or two for today, then it went up to 4 inches, then 6 inches which wouldn't have been bad. Then this morning I heard 12 inches and we got every bit of that 12 inches!! Probably more.

Pris I envy you! We get lots of snow of course, but good gosh since Christmas it has been non stop! Like every stinking week-end. It gets old really fast even though we are used to it. Of course I had plans today and by 11 am couldn't even get my car out of the garage, I know I'd have gotten stuck. DH is gone with the 4 wheel drive.
The experts are now talking flooding again this spring like last year. My county is still trying to fix all the damages done almost a year ago.

I am desperately hoping we skip spring this year and go directly to JULY!!!!!!! Now that is my kinda weather.

Windsor, Ontario is farther south than Milwaukee, WI and Windsor is surrounded by the Great Lakes. Windsor has the potential for a milder, but snowier winter than Milwaukee. (I'll not speculate about the winter from International Falls to Minaki to Winnipeg. You have to bring your bottles of Jack Daniels into the house else those may freeze and break.)

still can't quite believe it, but as of Thursday, the term "snow peeps" applies to me:

we got 7" on Thursday & about 5" on Friday.

Thank goodness I had a flat shovel;
I had to *shovel snow* just to get out of the driveway.

I am a native, been here a hunnert years, never saw this much snow, ever, & certainly never dreamed I'd have to shovel it off the driveway.

It broke a couple of limbs, the birds ate at least 3 times their usual amount (yep, had to shovel my way to the feeder, too), & the dogs were shocked, *shocked* I tell you, at that stuff.

(just for future reference-from now on, y'all can keep all this stuff for your own selves!)

WE got 4' out here we were to get a dusting Monday well dusting is now up to 6 -10"in pa how do you think we feel.

We have been SO lucky. Where I live is close to Buffalo, and we usually get SLAMMED every year, often more than once for the season. DH actually bought some kind of contraption to assemble to put in the back yard so the dogs would have a cleared place to do their business- since they're such small dogs. We haven't even had to put it up.
