Craziest thing I saw yesterday!

Yesterday me and my daughter were coming home from soccer practice and a man was standing on a very busy intersection corner with a sign that read " I cheated on my wife and this is my punishment". Everyone was looking at him...makes you go hmmmmmmmmm.

Really? Why would she want to air their dirty laundry like that? I wonder if he lost a bet and was paying up.

Joe. No me and Purple Tiff arent related silly. We do have the same name though, so that means we are awesome!! haha Yeah both my Brazils arent even close to clipping yet. BUT...I am pretty sure my Walmart has more Brazils. If you all direct me I can ship to you provided you send me the means to do so...just a thought. I think my next plant is a Chlorophytum Fire Flash. Wow they are pretty. I also like an Ocean Spider Plant. And Hoyas. WOAH! They are pretty. I was going to start a Hoya thread and ask for some pictures before I decide to buy one. Want to make sure it fits me, but from what I have seen they are pretty and fragrant. I would like some flowering plants someday when I have more light. Leaving for Vegas Thursday EARLY morning, like early you dont want to talk to me early! Taking the kiddos to my moms tomorrow. Much needed break! Cant wait, although I will miss the little ones.

The craziest or i guess i should say Dumbest thing i did this year was go out in the front garden one kinda cool and overcast day.I planted some new flowers,moved things around etc.I had a sweat shirt on when i started,but got too hot and took it off. Never gave the weather another thought!! Don't know if you all remember i went through chemo at the end of 08 and beginning of 09.My hair has grown back,however not as thick as it used to be.Thought nothing of it.Continued with those gardens,and moved over to the side succulent garden,by that time the sun was in and out,felt nothing,that is until i came in and got in the shower.When i washed my hair my scalp hurt pretty bad,so when i got out,i took my hand mirrow and looked at the back of my head~~~~~~~~~~Yup had a pretty bad sunburn,right thru my hair.Won't make that mistake again!! For snappers, the Oklahoma Dept. of Wildlife site says: 20 to 40 eggs are typically deposited...the eggs hatch after an incubation period of roughly 100 days (though it can range from 55-125 days depending on temperature and humidity). It didn't look like what we call a "box turtle," so I'm thinking it may have been a snapper. I wanted to go back out and take a picture of her, but I was afraid of spooking her! I pass the nest on the way to the mailbox, so I'll be able to monitor it all summer. :-) I'm so glad you all share my jubilation at such small wonders. It just makes me feel all warm and fuzzy to witness this stuff! And it sounds like you've all seen your share of "nature in progress." (Cool pics, Brenda!) A few years ago, we caught this...we call them a "locust" around here, but I think they are called something else other places.

"Zeller closed down years ago. All of them." They reopened one here in Ottawa in 2014 as a store liquidator to HBC and HomeOutfitters. Seriously, there are some great deals and they should open more across Canada for all the vacant Target stores there are. If only a few even. OJ, I stole my time with the pillow while at the store. I was in awe of it but weirdly, not interested in it.

Stupid. If my hubby cheated on me, I'd sure not blab it to the world. Doesn't ring true....maybe he's hoping to advertise his willingness????

That is bizarre. Why would anyone air their dirty laundry like that. I sure hope there are no children involved, how mature of mom and dad to humiliate them as well.

The wife may not have anything to do with it. There was an article in our newspaper about a judge who is ordering things like that. It said the judge was fed up with ppl who do minor offenses which ultimately waste the courts time and ends up justing getting a 60 or 90 day probation and life goes on. When ppl appear in his court as a repeat offender for misdemeanor offenses the judge is giving them the prescribed 60 or 90 day probation plus he orders them to stand by the street for a prescribed period of time from 4 to 8hrs at a conspicuous place and hold a sign that describes what their offense was.

They said he has been doing it for about a year and the number of minor offenses has dropped dramatically because ppl don't want to face the public ridicule....I say,,,HURRAY for that judge.

Agree Lazypup, there should be more judges doing this as well as society holding people accountable for their actions. I'd like to see more of this especially with our youngsters. I'm not against tatooing as well.

Well, that will probably get the attention of some bleeding heart woman...I swear some woman will probably open up her car door, and heart and let him in her car and life. I just betcha. Crazy. Then she will wonder why she could not change the scoundrel. DUH....I wonder...

On the other hand, while all you ladies are going on about what dogs men are statics have proven that women are far more likely to cheat. In fact, statics say that almost 63% of women cheat in the first 5 years of marriage, while only 42% of the men cheat during the same time period.
