Anyone have leather furniture from Costco?

I saw some nice looking leather chairs on the Costco website for a very good price. In general, I feel that Costco carries very high quality merchandise. But the pricing is so good on these that it feels almost too good to be true. Anyone have any experience with their furniture? (I realize that they carry different manufacturers, so its hard take comments from one and apply directly to another piece, but thought I'd ask). Thanks.

Furniture from Costco or other local stores in SF?

I haven't purchased from Costco, but I've people who have bought a few pieces. I think the quality is decent, but I can't say I would buy a set sight unseen either. 2 suggestions. 1. If you have patience, Craigslist can be a goldmine, as used furniture can be had cheaply. We've done very well over the years. 2. With such a large amount needed, you may be a candidate for a trip to NC. My wife and I used the "Furniture Factory Outlet Guide" by Kimberly C (check Amazon. I think a new version is due out in December). We were lucky enough to be able to see what we wanted in person at Breuner's, which is no longer around. We ended up with a Cresent set (http://www.cresent.com/murrayhill.aspx). We paid ~3K (delivered-SF Bay area) for Queen sleigh bed, Armoire and 2 large nightstands. We've been very happy with the set. Anyone have 'leather match' furniture?

I have a leather match reclining sofa. It looks fine after years of use. One db had leather match stationary chairs and the sides faded. Dh and I have both worked in furniture a long time and had never seen that issue before...don't know why that happened. At least he didn't get them from a company we worked for! Anyway, I have always felt when buying reclining furniture, leather match is the way to go. Motion furniture usually doesn't last as long as stationary - more things to break, and the furniture tends to get used a lot - so saving $ with leather match is fine. I wouldn't do leather match on stationary furniture.

Anyone have the Brondell 825 from Costco?

Partly answering my own questions. I see that the 825 has features which the 900 doesn't - the oscillating massage, a chrome 90 degree bidet hose elbow, and a 3 year warranty. The 1000 has heated air drying and a room deodorizer, which the 825 doesn't. I think I can live with those features missing - not interested in the deodorizer. Anyone really in love with the air drying?

I don't own any furniture from there, but I sure need to make it a point to go look more often ;) A year or two ago I read an article about Costco's furniture offerings. It was a furniture industry publication, and it was more about Costco's attempts to gain a foothold in the furniture market. The article did note that although they do carry different manufacturers, among those are some really good quality furniture choices at a savings over typical retail $.
