That's awesome...and she sure looks like you!!

She has a unique voice, sounds great!

That is lovely.

Sue

She has a wonderful voice and it was perfect for that song.

Great voice! Beautiful girl... takes after her Mom.

After listening to her sing I had to look up the lyrics, they were especially meaningful for me today.

Hey, Mom, she's got something! More than just pretty.

Now *this* mom has to ask her to sit up more to open her diaphragm -- get more 'air power' under her very good voice -- and good phrasing. (Nag, nag, nag. LOL) Long as I'm at it: OPEN the mouth wider.

Beautiful...she has a pretty voice.

Is chisue the next Simon Cowell? :-)

Amber could use a Simon Cowell/Mom's advice but she doesn't take criticism very well. She's been offered a singing contract twice and turned it down both times. I think it's because she doesn't have a passion for singing. She does so many other things (dance and fashion design) that she can't seem to focus on one thing. I think she turned the contracts down because she didn't like having to deal with a voice coach and the work that goes along with being a singer. She has her own unique style and doesn't want anyone trying to break it. That's my DD, stubborn as ever. :-)

I really like her other song much better but it's audio only and I can't remember where I uploaded it to.

Jodi-

Love her voice--perfect match with that song!

Jodi, if you think it'll do any good, please tell Amber that I was offered opportunities in singing when I was young, and I turned them down, too--to my later regret. My reasons were the exact ones you cited, although looking back with the wisdom of age, I also think a lack of confidence was involved.

very nice...she's a beautiful girl.

Love her voice!

I agree a beautiful girl with a very beautiful voice!!

Does Amber get her singing talent from Mom? Or Dad?

She has one of those voices that makes me want to hear more. Thank you for sharing this.

Thanks everyone.

Both my DH and I are singers, or at least used to be. Back in the 60s he was in a group called "Me, Him and Her" who were the equivalent of "Peter, Paul and Mary" without the money or notoriety. :-) DH played string bass. MH&H just had a 40 year reunion last fall. I played guitar and sang at weddings in the 70s.

I found a site to host an audio file of another song my daughter recorded so Petaloid, I'll put a link to that in another post.

Jodi-

Amber is a very pretty girl with a great voice. She sure resembles you.
