faucet off to one side -- anyone have this?

We just got word that our sink is too big to put a faucet behind it. Very frustrating since the granite guy told me that that size Ticor single bowl would fit (and aren't all sinks standard in their depth for regular sized counters??) Part of the problem according to the granite guy is that they can make the hole for the faucet, but the faucet will run into the moulding of the window above it.

The shape of the sink is rounded at both top corners so they are going to put two holes in the top two corners for the faucet and the soap dispenser.

Our sink is not centered under the window so that helps. But I'm still worried how it will look.

Does anyone have a picture of something similar?

Here is a link that might be useful: ticor sink
