CC, Erin, That Brillo Frog was probably one of the best sellers for Duncan. It is glazed in 'Spring Bouquet'. I still have that mold in the garage. The ceramic fad dropped out in the late '70ies. I bought a defunct ceramic business in 87. If I could not plant in it the mold went. I love to combine my hobbies. Still do. Good pots are hard to find and I think the market has junk. It's moving the toilet stack that's always the problem. More than 6" in any direction pretty much requires a new stack, which I was told is the expensive part. That tub looks around the same age as ours, which is 34" deep. But even at 32", I can tell you that a rectangular shower is a lot more comfortable than a neo-angle. We have a 42" neo-angle custom with frameless enclosure and like it a lot, but a narrow/longer shower would have worked just as well if not better. Because you're dealing with a small space, you can spend more on higher-end materials, which will give this modest bath (ours isn't that much bigger: 7x13') real 'ooomph'. A smaller or corner vanity, improved storage space design, and a luxury shower with frameless or thin-framed enclosure will be beautiful. Don't forget to add an exhaust fan - we replaced our Broan/Nutone crap with Panasonics and LOVE them!

Gina as far as I know there aren't many American living here on a permanent basis. Problem is the residence permits for non-Spanish people. If one is not a European national whose country is a member of the European Union, it's difficult to get a fulltime residence permit. If one has a work permit or is married to a European then a residence is easier to acquire. Otherwise non Europeans are allowed to stay in the country for only 6 months at a time. I love the idea of posting pictures of our local scenery and daily activities! Of course I will contribute and will try to add some travel pics of airport, hotel, food along the way. Good idea. I'd take my chances and see what an objective appraiser says anyway. At least you will have a ball park price to start with. List with a non local agent for three months. Tell them if you are unable to get your asking price that you plan to rent the house until the market picks up again. Offer the agent a bonus for every amount over the asking price ($1k ?) he/she can get. Hard nosed negotiators? Let the REA agent deal with them, thats what they are being paid to do. Just my opinion!
