I'm always thinking about somebody here @ the KT. Sorry I'm not around much. I've gotten into making quilts and between doctor trips, there just doesn't seem to be enough time in the day.

Good news, tho! I'm cancer-free!!! They thought it had gone to my lungs, but, it turned out to be a bacteria. Will have all the tests done again the middle of this month and I'm sure it will be good news again. I just know you'll get good news,too (((BrattyKat))).

((Donna)), I have my 'little shoe' on a shelf right above my computer, so, you're always close to me ...... whether you like it or not, lol.

RC, Not sure what you mean by copy and type what it shows for the question you're having problems with. I can't register, so, I can't reply to the thread. I feel like such a dunce. I'll keep watching the thread and perusing the loads of info they have there. On the anti-bot question: What's the code? The color that matches its name is Orange, right? Number of letters that's repeated in the recording is 5, right? Sorry if I shouldn't be mentioning this here, but I know it's simple. I guess I'm even more simple because I can't figure it out.

Gale, I am curious about what Stage breast cancer you had when you were diagnosed? My sister also had breast cancer and was preparing for "High Dose?" chemo when they found a spot the size of a quarter on one of her lungs. She did the whole retrieving of stem cells (a 2 day process) prior to this. Some stupid nurse told her "don't worry about that spot, the High Dose Chemo will just wipe it out along with everything else". Wrong. They wouldn't attempt this terrible chemo if it had metastasized anywhere in the body. She was only One (1) frigging day away from the start of what she considered her final chance. She never gave up. Even when they said "no" to the High Dose Chemo, she still insisted that they try everything possible to stop this morbidly fascinating disease. Tomorrow will mark her 11 year anniversary of losing the battle of a lifetime. She was my hero; everybody who has/had cancer and tried to fight it is my hero, as I could never do what any of these people have done. I know that I would just give up. I just couldn't go through with "EVERYTHING YOU HAVE TO". I just couldn't.

Sorry to bring this back from page two, but, I just had to thank you all so much for the birthday wishes!!! Also, thank you, ((Joy & Summer)) for your emails. The reason I haven't been around for a while is because last Feb. I was diagnosed with Stage IV breast cancer which has recently gone to my lungs, they "think". Well, I'm believing it's not and when I'm ready to hear what 'they' say after this next round of chemo, we'll find out ..... maybe. In the meantime, I'll try to ck in with you guys again soon. Again, thanks for remembering me. :) Love to all!

I just spoke with the fema claim people who checked my policy and said definitely my policy does not cover contents. Not sure why or how that works but apparently there are different levels of coverage. My husband was the one that had our SF agent get us flood insurance at the time we were closing on the house because we had to have it. We will definitely reevaluate that and see what better options we have. If we are replacing every thing we own I want it all covered in case it happens again. The appliances are covered, the heat and air is covered which is good because our brand new big AC unit is not working. In trying to open the bottom drawers on the dressers the wood was swollen and the drawers fell apart. So every piece of furniture in my bedrooms has to be replaced. I am hoping the beds can be saved especially the antiques. I am now in the we are getting rid of baggage mind set and I wanted to go more minimal anyway. One thing I learned and will pass along. Using big Rubbermaid bins doesn't necessarily mean your stuff is safe! They float even full and when they float they fall over on their sides and water pours into them because they are not water tight. I had several bins of fabric in the sewing room stacked up. The tower fell over and everything in them was soaked. I chose to throw it out. Fabric could be washed but I have so much good stuff to wash I just can't see having the time before it starts to mold. I now have a very cleared out sewing room.
