What a cutie!

Carol, Just a couple of days ago I was wondering if you have anys pics of him since he moved to Japan. He sure doesn't look like a baby any more. He looks like an adorable little boy. Thanks for the picture. Whenever you get others I hope yu will share them with us too.

Linda

Jodi-

That has to be the cutest kid I've ever seen!

Thanks so much for sharing. He is definitely a little boy now instead of a baby. And what a sweetheart he is.

Shirley

He's getting so grown up! Still adorable, though.

What a cutie. I can't believe how big he is already. I bet you miss him like crazy.

Wow, he's a darling, Carol!

What a cutie. As other said, he looks like a little boy now and not a baby.

How cute he is!!! OMG..he looks so grown up, no baby face! How old is he now?

He's just adorable!
Are you going to be visiting him anytime in the near future?

Oh My Gosh, he looks like a regular little boy now. He is really really cute. I know you miss him like crazy; I hope you can go there soon.

Glad to hear they're finally getting settled.

I love that child's face!!! He's just so darn cute Carol. I know you count the days until you get to see him again. Glad your family is getting settled in. Is your son experiencing any culture shock?

I remember seeing a picture of his Dad and he looks like he is going to be just as handsome.

He's a very handsome young man, for sure!

Awwwwwwwww,how cute he is.

Who's that little boy claiming to be Jake. LOL Nothing baby looking about him now. He is sure growing up fast. He is just adorable.

Well, isn't he such your little man now. I declare he gets cuter and cuter. Is there a little booboo under his nostril? Who hurt'im? Lemme at'em!

OMGosh he's not a baby anymore!!!! He's so darn cute!

He is adorable.

Linda

Gosh, he looks so grown up! I can't believe how big he is already. I know you miss him so much. Hope you get to see him before long. He's a beautiful boy!

Thanks for all the compliments. I am beaming!
Jake is a little over 18 months old.....last time I saw him was in October. We are planning a trip there this Spring.
He is learning both languages so maybe he can teach me to speak Japanese.
Steve lived in Tokyo for seven years and speaks the language fluently and knows where all the bargains are and knows which subway or train or bus to take. We are looking forward to our visit, not only to see Jake but to do some sightseeing.
I am not sure about the little booboo on his face but he is so curious, no telling how he got it.

How did he get so big so fast?! He has the most adorable face ever.

He looks like a smart little boy, don'cha think grandma?

Boo boo or not, Carol, he really is a beautiful little boy!

I know you treasure all pics as all the 'long distance' Grans do. :)

It won't be too much longer before you can hold Jake and look into that sweet face.

And I agree with Toni; Jake just looks smart. :)

Where did the "baby Jake" go? He looks soooo grown up and still probably the best looking baby/little boy I have ever seen.....Stacy

My gosh it's amazing to think Jake is 18 months old! It seems like just a couple of months have gone by since he was born!!

Jake is so adorable!! He has the cutest little, "I see you" look on his face. :-)

More photos!!! We'd love to see more!!!

Where did the baby go? Jake, is a handsome little boy now!

Carol, do you have a web cam? My sister had one while she was in Saudi Arabia so she could keep in contact with her first Grandbaby and when she would come home for a visit her Jake didn't make strange with her. Grandma Liz would read him bedtime stories over the computer.

Anne

Carol He sure is a sweet little guy. Almost as cute as my GGrandaughter.

What a CUTIE!!! I second getting a webcam! They are so simple to use now and brings you so close! Then he WILL know you when you get there!

Kalie was at Mike's parents for Christmas Eve, but we still celebrated with them! =)

He's so cute, can't believe he's so "grown up" already!

Carol, Jake is just too cute!

Spring is just around the corner, so start packing!

Donna (^_^)

My gosh, the baby has been replaced by a handsome young man. You're getting closer everyday to being able to go and see him.

Holy cow! Look at all that hair! LOL
