Pork chops are wonderful in the slow cooker. I dip boneless chops in egg and then corn bread stuffing mix.
Use the mix as it comes from the box and reserve the left over. Brown chops lightly. Takes maybe two minutes. Lay them in the crock pot. To the left over dressing add about 1/2 cup each of chopped celery and onion. Sprinkle over the chops. Pour over 1/2 cup of white wine. Cook on high about 2 1/2 to 3 hours.

You don't say if this is for a dessert sauce or to be served with meat of some type. You may be able to take the sauce ingredients in this recipe, double or triple them and cook in a slow cooker. You also do not say if the sauce is too be served over/with a dessert or if you want to can or freeze the sauce. We need more information in order to help you. It's cold here this morning, and a crockpot with pork roast in it sounds very inviting! I have 2 recipes I use for pork roast in the crockpot. The first one is probably what you're looking for - we like it with mashed potatoes. The second will feed a big crowd, and has Mexican flavors. CRANBERRY PORK ROAST (serves 4-6) 1 boneless pork loin roast (approx. 3 lbs) 1 16 oz. can jellied cranberry sauce 1/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. cranberry juice 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. dry cloves Place pork roast in a slow cooker. Mash cranberry sauce in a bowl, mix it with the sugar, juice and spices. Pour over the roast - cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until meat is tender. Remove meat from the pot and keep warm while you make the gravy. Skim fat from juices, measure 2 cups (adding water if necessary) and pour into a saucepan. Bring to a boil. Make a paste with 1 1/2 Tbsp. cornstarch and 1 1/2 Tbsp. cold water - stir into gravy - cook and stir until thickened. Season to taste with salt and pepper. (Note: I don't always thicken the gravy, sometimes I just use what's in the pot by itself). ------------------------------------------------------------ CHALUPA PORK ROAST 3 lb. pork roast (bone in) 1 lb. pinto beans 2 very large cloves fresh chopped garlic 2 Tbsps. chile powder 1 Tbsp. ground cumin 1 tsp. oregano 1 can chopped green chiles 1 Tbsp. salt Trim fat off meat, wash and sort the beans, combine all ingredients in a large crockpot and cover with water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours - remove bones, break up roast - continue to cook until beans are tender and mixture is thickened. Serve burrito style (flour tortillas, cheese, chopped veggies, sour cream etc.) seagrass

My husband's favorite crock pot recipe for pork chops is really easy and something I put together out of items I had on hand for dinner one day. For 4 chops, I rub the chops with cayenne pepper (a little goes a long way), dry mustard, salt and pepper. I then brown them in a skillet just until golden. Then I put in the crock pot with some dried minced onion, one can of chicken dijon condensed soup, and two Tablespoons of white cooking wine. Then cook on low for about 5-6 hours.

I use a two cans of cream of mushroom soup and a can of mushroom gravy and often times more canned mushrooms or fresh ones if I have them on hand. Place in the slow cooker all day and then I serve it over noodles!!

great for leftovers and frozen too!

This is wonderful! Slice a small onion in the crock. Broil chops just to get the fat out and place on top of the onions. Pour some bar-b-que sauce over and cook for 4-6 hours on low. They are sooooooooooo good. This receipe is even better using ribs. It's one of the easiest recipes I know of. Hope you enjoy it.
