Wow!! A perfect day!

Its a beautiful day outside! 31 or 32 degrees (at 12:30pm)and NO wind. That alone is unusal for this state! (ND)

The sun is out and I went out a little bit ago to DD's and just wore a light coat, no gloves and didn't even zip up the coat!

Now if everyday was like today I wouldn't mind winter a bit!

I guess it's what we get used to. 31Â° would be freezing cold to me! LOL Even the 50Â°'s is too cold for me.

I'm glad you are having warmer temps and sunshine!

LOL I know its sad Maryann! It all depends on the time of year it hits 32! In July I'd be freezing too! But February its wonderful!! Hahahaha

You just described our summer, only a month different on all counts. We get that hovering high stuff in August, and rain diminishes. I hate it when the weather begins that "repeated prediction for showers, the sky looks grey, and then it all blows past without a drop". So taunting! Us too only later. Sounds like we're a good month behind in everything you endure and you get an extra month of this carp. Phooey. Stay cool drinking lemonade, spritzers, etc. while surfing on the computer inside.

Congratulations on your excellent day in the butterfly garden. You have quite a listing of species! We are having a banner year for butterflies in our garden here in Anderson Township (Cincinnati), too. Our list is about the same as yours, although it took me a few days (not just one) this week to get to that number. We had a rare one called a 'goatweed leafwing' on Sunday. And a couple of Commas and a Question Mark several days ago, thanks to our overgrown hops vine, I think. I looked back in my garden diary for last year's July 20th records and I barely had any BF visitors that day. It's interesting to compare from year to year. I will be interested to keep track of what's going on in your gardens for the rest of the season. Thanks for sharing. J.

Now, if you are in Texas or Florida this time of the year... you can always tell the northerners! They are the ones in the pool. :)

For them, the southern temps are warm.

Still chilly here, but not like yesterday. It's in the 40's but weekend will be in the 60's.{{gwi:1564080}}

Daffodils are about ready to pop open, so know the warm weather will do just that to them.

Yep It got to 36 and wow! Peeps out in tshirts and NO coats. Long sleeves is just about right for today, I put my light coat on to go to the grocery store and actually felt too warm with the sheepskin type lining.
Come on spring!! The streets are horrible tho with slush and water and ice underneath. But we aren't going to talk about that today! LOL

When we would go south to Texas with DH's job, we'd see peeps in parkas with the hoods up and zipped all the way. Heck we'd wear denim jackets and loved it! LOL So you're right Moni!

It was 1 degree here this morning... but we might hit 50 on Saturday.
