What if you offered a set of, say, six different varieties, same size, with 'perfect' labels all ready to clear varnish and make lids for? If they're suitable for people doing 'country-style' decorator crafts - would you pack and ship them across country? Six for ten dollars plus post and packing? With a booklet of ideas - ten, fifteen perhaps, either photocopied or run off on the home printer. Others - clean and shiny - suitable for cachepots for cacti or a minimalist decor. Four to six dollars each? (Not everyone buys larger sizes, or has the time to pick out the better ones and have six or more together at the one time - so you're providing a service. And, if they came with a pretty gravel or shell mulch, that could be useful.) You can always drop the price if you need to but these are now no longer empty cans from which you've eaten the yummies - but the basis of some serious crafting or decorating. If the pricing seems 'outrageous' zip down to the library and check the ads in the craft magazines for price ranges on similar items.

Freeze it in a mix of 1/2 apple juice and half water...add a couple of cloves of garlic, smashed on the counter and a sprig of Rosemary or of thyme...and freeze. But I would have tod efrost it and drain it, pat the meat dry and brown it before adding the marinade to cook it in. Linda C

Here's the easiest applesauce cake ever. I learned about it just a month ago and it's become a favorite of my husband: One cake mix (use a good brand like Duncan Hines, Pillsburry etc, three eggs and 1 2/3 cups applesauce. Whip together about three minutes. Pour into a prepared bunt pan and bake 350 for 40 - 50 minutes. I serve this with pudding sauce, or ice cream. You could frost it but I never do. The pudding sauce is a microwave recipe. In a quart bowl, mix two tablespoons corn starch with 1/3 cup sugar. Add two cups milk. Microwave about nine minutes at Power Level #7 stirring three times during the nine minutes it should be fairly thick at the end of this time. Beat about 1/2 cup of the hot mix with Two tablespoons softened butter and an egg. SLOWLY pour it back into the pudding. Add two teaspoons of vanilla and cook another two minutes. Remove from microwave, cool, serve over applesauce cake. (If you are really feeling lazy, use instant pudding)

Oh my gosh!!! That dog is so darned cute. I wouldn't want to let it go home. I adore little tiny dogs. They have so much personality. You can just see the p&v in this one. It's like she's saying, okay what can I get into next?
