Anyone familiar with Tresco inside cabinet lights?

I thought it would be nice to light the appliance garage and base super-susan. I want to use a magnetic switch, so light goes on automatically when door opens. Tresco makes a cold cathode that does the trick, but it's pricey compared to low voltage xenon pucks etc. I'm big on do it right, do it once and Tresco looks like the best answer. Any thoughts?

On a side note: I just discovered Plugmold/Wiremold from this site and, although I'm all ready for cabinet install on Wednesday, I'm thinking of calling my electrician back out ASAP to remove wall plugs. I'm doing a full granite back splash and would love to see ALL the granite without wall plates. Is it worth the trouble?
