If I'd known it was this easy, I'd have tried it sooner (sushi)

I love sushi and sashimi in all its forms, but it is very expensive here so I don't often treat myself.

Some months ago I bought a kit with a bamboo mat, sushi rice, wasabi, ginger, rice vinegar, soy sauce and nori - basically all you need to make and enjoy maki rolls - but I only got round to actually using it tonight. I made two kinds of rolls, one with a filling of cucumber and carrot with mayonnaise, and the other cucumber and smoked salmon.

They were fully as tasty and nice-looking as anything available in restaurants here and were so very easy to make that I am definitely trying it again with different fillings. I might even try other kinds of sushi - which brings me to the point of all this: can you point me in the direction of a good website or preferably a cookbook that teaches basic sushi-making? I'd like to try making other kinds of sushi than maki rolls.
