Very impressive but we camped for over 20 years so I had my fill of that. I prefer hotels and I loved your house.

That is a great place to be in when it is raining outside and trying to cook. We had a Monoco 5th wheel for several years until DH could not set it up due to helath issues. Does yours have a full closet and a 6 drawer built in dresser? Ours did and boy was that nice.
Enjoy it!!!

Marie, we have a full closet with a built in shoe rack. We also have a large cabinet with I believe 3 drawers under neath and then 4 or 5 drawers all along under where the TV is in the bedroom. The bed lifts up and there is storage under there also. Everywhere we look there is storage.

It also comes with the awnings that come out over the 4 slides so you don't have to climb up on top and sweep the slides off. I have a double fridge with an ice maker, a microwave/convection oven. Lots of deep cabinets for dishes and other things.

We are really happy with the deal we made and yes I have already thought about not having to go from the truck to the RV in the rain. Also when we leave home we will put the house cats in the motorhome and they won't come out again until we get back home. I am sure they will appreciate that. lol

We can also pull into someplace like Walmart and not have to open up any slides and still be able to go to bed and use all the rest of the place. Everything is just so convenient, we can't wait to take our first trip.

We looked at a similar motorhome at the Hershey show, it was quite the stunner! But with a price tag of over half a million we decided to put it on hold!

I love it, Nita. We were out shopping for one yesterday, we have to go visit a dealer next week.

How lovely! I was worried for you. I see that you will be able to retain your chauffer, maid, chef, and cabana boy.

I wish you much happiness in your new home.

The thought of so little to clean is appealing, but I've just been feeling good about getting home after six weeks in an 850 sq ft condo with DH. You can probably travel *many* miles, regardless of cost of fuel or MPG, for fares to Maui and back -- and no airline will decide when or how you go!

Very nice!

and I thought I was holding you back, cause I said I really need something smaller. :)

Glad all works out for you. Love Adella's reply. :)

How elegant! I'm glad you got your dream house. The older I get, the more I realise that there's a lot to be said for living in the moment and learning how to really *enjoy* every day. I hope you have many happy miles. :)

Love your new home! We really enjoyed ours. Sold because of health reasons, but it was really great to wake up next to a river or mountains. Happy Trails to you! :o)

One thing about awnings. PLEASE don't leave them out when you leave the motor home. Even though they are braced, the wind, even a so call gentle one can and will rip them right off and could damage the motor home. We were in Wy at a camp several years ago and a storm came up real fast as they do, we just barely got ours closed down and locked, looked out and some poor eldery couple was tryint to get theirs in. It took about 4 or 5 healthy men, mine included to just get it closed and even then over 1/2 of the awaning had ripped away from the trailer. She was in tears and he just was very upset. So, never go off without putting the awning in. Just a safety issue. Is this your first home away from home? If so, please feel free to ask questions. Like do not leave water hoses out at night when the temps is 32. Not good. but you can use the hair dryer to thaw them out-it does take awaile. Also if you are in a campground with skunks, get some small cans with lids, like coffee cans, metal, put moth balls in them put the lids on and put them next to the wheels away from pets, etc
Take care and good traveleing.

Nita, does it have a garage for the trike like the 5th wheel or will you pull a hauler?

Wowser is all I can say. It is one of my dreams to buy a place like that and just travel around and be able to have the dogs with us. I could definitely live in that! Holy smokes, are they really half a mil?

Marie, we have been camping for years. My father also sold Terry's and Jayco's for many years. We just traded in a 41 foot 5th wheel with 2 awnings. We have done it all....tents, tow behind, motorcycle campers, 5th wheel and now this motor home. It is always good to have folks let you know the hazards of having these rigs.

Lynn, we will be buying a car hauler to either put a car in or when we want to the trike and Mike's bike. This way we will hopefully only have to buy one more thing. On this first trip, which will be on the 11th of March we will be borrowing a motorcycle trailer from our friends to put my trike on. We are planning to go to the Kerrville, Texas area and ride the Hill Country for 5 days. We have a friend who used to motorcycle with us that has a home in the area.

I hope you and Andy have good luck finding just the camper you want. I know you guys will have a lot of fun and so will your cats. It is amazing how easily they adapt to this lifestyle.

Yes there are rigs out there that go for half a mil and more. Since this one is used and 6 years old we got a great deal. It was gently used and in excellent condition. There are bargains out there you just have to look around and be in the right place at the right time like we were with this one. When we left on Friday morning I had no idea that we would even be looking at motor homes and never that we would own one so soon.

You will love riding in the hill country. Might be to early for wild flowers, but the roads are great for motor bikes and bicycles.

That's beautiful Nita!! I love the dark wood throughout. Keep us informed on where you're going next... I think there's a few of us KTers you haven't yet met.

Congrats on selling your house.. did Brat Kat's post yesterday have anything to do with it? lol

Thrilled to peaches for you, Nita!

Looks like lots of fun to me.

Looks like it woulds be a lot easier upkeep than your old home that kat posted!
