This is the Province where Casey is from and Eliza-Ann. Most of our Canadian comics hail from here also. Can you imagine living in a place of such beauty?

I've vacationed in the Province of Newfoundland and Labrador once, dated a boy from Nfld and have stopped many times in Gander on my way to Europe as the jet refueled. I would love to go again.

Casey is the first of us KTers in North America to greet the sun each day and to watch the sun set. No wonder she is a great photographer - how could you not want to capture the beauty that surrounds you.

My favourite commercials on television right now are the tourism commercials for Newfoundland and Labrador. I can actually say I look forward to watching them.

Anne - you are so right. Newfoundland is on my short list of places I'd like to visit. We traveled from Toronto to Quebec and across Maine to Nova Scotia and spent a week touring the area. The photos I've seen of Newfoundland are beautiful. I even saved an article that mentioned it as a great place to retire.

EXQUISITE! I just finished babysitting my 4-yr old granddaughter so when I sat down for a little breather, I grabbed the iPad to see what's new on our forum. I found this little bit of heaven! Hostanista you are a very talented individual. The miniature gardens are absolutely inspiring and so exquisite...the detail is amazing. I found all the vids and music so soothing and utterly lovely. When I got to the end I was like, HEY, Where's the next vid????? Talk about feeling deprived! LOL P.S. Took a second run-through, then I will do a third, fourth, ...., ....,and I want to eat those tomatoes. THANK YOU very much for sharing. Oh yes, what a nice surcie and what cute kids. I can tell your daughter did like the moose, look at that smile! Her brother looks like he's putting up with her, LOL. Love that chile sauce too, I made a dozen jars of it because it makes awesome sloppy joes, the Princess and Bud love it just dumped into a pan of browned ground beef. I think I'll be in trouble if I use any myself for anything else! I have a jar of that brand of mustard in the fridge, it's really good, Chase gave it to me when I went to Toronto. I sent fresh garlic once to Ann T too, I think I forgot what it was and just had to write "gift" on the customs slip.... Annie

Howdy, y'all. Native westerner, I now live in a Vermont village, just two blocks from the village green, in a 1300 sq foot house. This is the largest house I've ever lived in. It's also the first not in the country (or in the wilderness) in a good few decades! This house began as a 14 by 18 foot post-and-beam two-story cottage sometime in the mid-1800s built from trees on the property on a native dressed marble foundation. One room down with cooking porch, one room up. Over the years it has accreted 7 additions (which is why my kitchen has 8 doors and no window). Thank you both. Puerto Vallarta is a vacation town with a lot of Americans, Canadians and some Europeans living here. The weather is beautiful every single day and some of the beaches further up north are amazing. I'm fortunate to be able to work from home and my business is located in L.A. thanks to the internet. I always wanted to live in a tropical place and so far I have not been disappointed. :)

Newfoundland is beautiful and as much as I complain about the weather I don't think I would want to live anywhere else. We have very little pollution, often when I share my pics people ask is the sky really that blue? Yes it is. :) I love to travel and sometimes I take what I have for granted and fail to see the beauty around me, but it always comes back to me.

I've always loved the pictures of Nfl, even back when Casey used to post on the Phography Forum (maybe you still do, Casey?). It looks like heaven on Earth, "as far from Disneyland as you can get." It seems unpretentious, yet stunning in its natural beauty.

I've been to Toronto many times, I would call it the Most Beautiful City in The World. I've also been to Victoria, it was lovely (but the homes were expensive, I couldn't afford it.)

I'm a little bit away from Casey...I'm in New Brunswick, still a very beautiful province but Newfoundland is also so majestic!!
The "Maritimes" as we are known, are well known for their people and beauty. I love Canada and wouldn't ever want to leave it again.

The Canadian Maritime Provinces have always been on my list of places to travel to also. Since coming to the kt and seeing caseys photos I'm more sure than ever that I need to get there.

I really do get very homesick every time I see those commercials on TV,but lucky me,will be spending at least 6 months each year in Newfoundland starting this summer.
It really is unique and just as beautiful as those ads make it seem.

Kat I would love to have you come visit!!! (oh, and Newfoundland is not part of the Maritimes, that is just New Brunswick, Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. Newfoundland is part of Atlantic Canada though.)

Many don't consider the Prairies beautiful ... Saskatchewan just some flat land to drive through on the way to somewhere else.

I didn't travel more than 30 miles from my home near London, Ontario till I was 17, but then moved to the Prairies, where I lived for only 7 years. While I feel that Ontario has great beauty, some of that of the Prairies has gotten into my blood, as well.

I enjoyed my one visit to the Maritimes, 30 years ago, but have never visited Newfoundland.
