Bake something chocolate for your Valentine!

CROCK POT CHOCOLATE CAKE

1 box chocolate cake mix

8 oz sour cream

1 pkg instant chocolate pudding

1 cup chocolate chips (using white chocolate chips today, since I had these in the pantry)

4 eggs

3/4 cup oil

1 cup water

Mix all ingredients together. Pour into lightly greased 5qt crock pot,

metal coffee can or Crock Pot Cake Bake pan. Cover.

Cook 3-4 hours on high or 6-8 hours on low.

This cake is so sinfully rich and sweet....to serve..spoon dip into your sexiest desert glasses, stemware or bowls. To tone down the richness serve warm with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream and a maraschino cherry on top...strawberries are nice too! If your serving in stemware...decorate the stem with a red ribbon!

Be sure to wear a light spritz of his favorite fragrance and a sexy apron over a sheer nightie... and remind him, your "desert" not the cake!

Who says "Red Velvet Cake" is for Christmas only! Try these for your special one:

Red Velvet Cake Balls

1 box red velvet cake mix (cook as directed on box for 13 X 9 cake)
1 can cream cheese frosting (16 oz.)
1 package chocolate bark (regular or white chocolate)
wax paper

After cake is cooked and cooled completely, crumble into large bowl.

Mix thoroughly with 1 can cream cheese frosting. (It may be easier to use fingers to mix together, but be warned it will get messy.)

Roll mixture into quarter size balls and lay on cookie sheet. (Should make 45-50. You can get even more if you use a mini ice cream scooper, but I like to hand roll them.)

Chill for several hours. (You can speed this up by putting in the freezer.)

Melt chocolate in microwave per directions on package.

Roll balls in chocolate and lay on wax paper until firm. (Use a spoon to dip and roll in chocolate and then tap off extra.)

My cakes tend to crack in the middle so this would works great for me!

That does look very tempting...but I think I'm going to make chocolate bundles that I saw Paula Deen make the other day..Puff Pastry cut into 4 pieces. put chocolates in side (I'm adding raspberries too)twist the top, egg wash bake at 350 until golden and top with chocolate gnash, more raspberries and whipping cream. Well some knows how crazy I was over choc cover cherries.Just ask jenni.It would be nothing for me to open a box and have it gone it mins.But When they had to place the stint in my heart I gave up the choc.But when I see it in the stores its hard to not just get me a box and think just one box want hurt me.But I know it would get me started again and I would keep going back getting several boxes.So I have been good and I just let it pass.I do snick in some M&M's now and then. Now this makes me want and I will crave the choc cover cherries.The heart dr said choc or caffine makes my heart race.

Woo Hoo! I know just how you feel - My Valentine's Day present was tile in my upstairs bathroom! Much better than any chocolate. LOL, 2many, I think Sriracha tastes like vinegar and hot peppers, but can't taste any other flavors. I'm a wimp, I like just a little heat but I don't want the enamel on my teeth to bubble. I think if it's so hot I can't enjoy the flavors of the food, it's kind of pointless, but Elery loves heat, the hotter the better. That is one mean looking panty liner, BTW. (grin) Sleevendog, I found a similar potato in my storage: I left it propped up on the counter for Elery to find and he didn't even notice it, LOL. So much for that Valentine's Day thought! Thanks for the sriracha tip on hummus, Elery would love that. I suppose I could just mix it in at the end, so the entire batch isn't "contaminated"? (snicker) AnnT, the steak looks delicious, as always, and although I don't care for very many hot chilies I love peppercorns. It's a different kind of heat. Annie
