I checked a few random rose sites and it seems it is fairly available - I like it so much I might try rooting a cutting next year. It took me so long too register because in some ways (like with spraying) I'm lazy! - but then I'll turn around and spend the whole day doing brutal digging - go figure. PS. I notice krista_4 is getting questions about Eglantyne, yes mine also has the 10-foot canes topped with a few flowers - I am going to put to use the suggestions I got from this forum next spring, and just let her go for now - she is pretty angry anyway, as I just moved her - she was taking over one whole side of my little garden!

AND the kitties,That ZEUS is such a gorgeous cat.His hair (FUR) looks so soft and ir shines.He is a very gorgeous cat, BUT, so is Nemo too, in a different way.Hard to beat that coat of fur on ZEUS, I have been looking at all the news about the floods in Vermont and New Jersey.Its horrible.I feel so bad for all them folks that has lost everything they have with the floods.I am hoping that most had flood insurance, but,I bet they didnt and end up with nothing.Its very sad. Thank you for the replies. I was out with my friend all day today. She doesn't seem to be as concerned as she was. The woman suing is saying Kathy's car was not maintained, the oil probably needed changing, her lights were off, etc. The papers also said she didn't yield the right of way. LOL She had the green light. We laughed because my friend had just bought her brand new car a few months earlier as a gift to herself on her 50th birthday. It was under warranty so it was always maintained and the oil was changed under the warranty. The lights on her car go on automatically. We met up with a good friend today and he said he was sued by the driver of another car that hit him and totaled his car. His insurance company lawyer told him not to give it another thought. The other guys insurance paid for Kathy's wages and physio. He admitted he was at fault at the scene of the accident. He said he wasn't paying attention to the road and went through the red light at the intersection. My friend deals with State Farm and their lawyer contacted her and told her that it would be wise if she also retained her own counsel to do things on her behalf. Kathy really didn't want to sue initially but I know myself and others were telling her that her injuries could still affect her in the future. I know I was in a car accident with my friend's boyfriend and he made a left hand turn and the car going through the green light hit the passenger side where I was sitting. I still have lasting problems with my neck. Also the initial lawyer said the laws had been changed and even if Kathy lost a leg she would still be able to work Her injuries would have had to be dire and she would have had to be incapacitated. Sure the other woman was injured more severally but through no fault of my friend's. I don't drive and never had a permanent license so I don't really know anything about car insurance except it is "no fault" in Ontario. I just think it stinks that this woman is trying to get away with something. My friend Gerry said the insurance lawyers will be watching her to see if her injuries are as severe as she says they are. One of my friends owns an apple orchard, and due to the reduction in the bee population in recent years, has to rent bees every spring. The beekeeper can pretty safely market the honey that is produced as "apple blossom honey." However, at the slightest hint that all is not well with the bees, the beekeeper packs up his hives and hightails it out of there, leaving my friend's orchard virtually bee-less. I used to buy honey at a farmers market in southern California. The honey was all different colors and had very different tastes. I asked about it, and the "honey lady" said that indeed the hives were simply placed in fields of whatever crop was named on the label. Not 100%, but close enough. I told her that gave me an image of a rural paradise teeming with flowers and bees, and she said I wasn't too far off in her case, but that is not always true. She said that quite good honey is produced in suburban areas, but you can't be sure of where or what the bees feed on. I surely miss that honey, I've never found as good here in Massachusetts.
