lightweight, cotton robe

I have a whole closet-full of robes (silk, terry, flannel, etcl) but most of them don't seem to mesh too well with hot flashes! Does anyone have any suggestions for something that is lightweight and cotton? A linke to a particular product would be really helpful.

I've seen travel robes but they seem too heavy.

Thanks for the suggestion of Dry Night's Sleep. While they don't have any robes now, they say one is in the works.

I'm not crazy about robes that tie at the waist and was looking for one in a lightweight cotton for summer many years ago. My mom, who loved to sew, made me one that was perfect from a wrinkle-proof cotton (with some poly) sheet that she bought on sale. It was so pretty! She made it A-line with a snap closure down the front. In retrospect, it probably was similar to a house dress, but looked fresh, young . . . and never wrinkled. If you can sew, making your own might be an option. I wish Mom could still sew as I'd love to have a few more :~( Lynn

My DH wears the Banana Rep Traveler pants/denim. I had to persuade him to try them because they are more than he would normally spend for jeans. Now he has 5 pairs from the series (2 jeans and 3 slightly dressier pairs). DH has an athletic build but wears the slim cut. He's looking for a thick terry cotton, either short or mid-length, somewhat like a nice towel. His is just getting old and isn't fluffy anymore. I took a look at Land's End and they are having quite the sale right now. Good suggestion from a few of you.

I checked it out also because I love the color so much (I wear it all the time) ... the photos of the quilt do seem a little less special than the photos of the linen bedding pieces. I think it looks like a great "grown up" pink. Bonus is it is such a great color for you -- we all want to look our best when lounging and draped in our bedding ;)

I found a lightweight 100% terrycloth cotton robe (knee length) at Target. I bought it near the end of 2005. They had med. pink and med. blue. Not my favorite color-wise, but I bought it in the winter to use for spring/summer. I love it. It's not too bulky, like some terry robes can be. It has a shawl collar and a wide tie for the waist.
