How to freeze egg whites?
Comments (6)Got this from gourmetsleuth website. Also check the link below. It has recipes on what to make with egg whites and what one egg whites amounts to. Tips For Storing or Using Left Over Egg Whites Store Individually - Drop one egg white in each section of a ice cube tray and freeze. Remove the egg white cubes and store in a freezer style zip-lock bag. Store in Quantity - If you have large quantities of egg whites pour them into an airtight container and freeze. Make sure to measure the whites and mark the container appropriately. To use, remove the container from the freezer and allow to thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Facial - Beat one egg white until it is frothy. Spread it all over your face. Allow the egg white to dry. You will feel your skin tighten as the egg white dries. Rinse it off. Your skin will have a nice tingly feeling. Do not try this if you are allergic to eggs. Comments (3)Two to three days. As chi83 points out, it will begin to dry out. Store the dough in a close-fitting plastic bag, plastic wrap, or foil -- with as much air removed as possible to help preventing the dough from drying out. You also have to take into account raw eggs in the dough (if the recipe contains raw, unpasteurized, eggs). For that reason I would NOT vacuum-seal the dough because if any bacteria is present, it can continue to grow into a toxin under the right conditions in the oxygen-free environment of a vacuum-sealed bag/jar/canister, even at refrigerator temperatures. Vacuum-sealing will NOT lengthen the storage time if there is raw egg in it. Bacteria (potentially from raw eggs) just grows slower in the refrigerator than at temperatures in the "Danger Zone" 40-140-degrees F. And since most people don't know what their refrigerator temperatures are, they can already be in the danger zone. -Grainlady...See MoreLong fine webs + egg clusters on tree branches

Comments (0)I had a whitefly problem on a couple young trees. I removed them from other plants to a secluded area, and washed the trees off with water several times a day, and hand checked every leaf and wiped out every young white fly I found. Did this for 2 weeks. Slowly but surely the whitefly population dwindled. Those two trees haven't had any signs whiteflies for 2 days now. I'd like to put these trees into my dads sunroom, but want to wait till I'm sure no whitefly eggs remain. So I'd like to know how long to wait before putting them inside. I have read so many different things on the internet and books that I'm confused on the whitefly life cycle. Thanks....See Morefearlessem
