Since it appears to have some relief, I think it is a scute from the carapace (top of shell). Most people don't realize that turtles shed their skin like snakes and lizards. The scutes generally come off one at a time, instead of one piece like in a snake.

He needs to score that corner out or the caulking won't stay. As for just grouting the bevels of the tile, If that's truly the case, the grout won't stay. I'm curious-- what did he have to say about the time he spent "placing" that huge gap in the middle of the wall? And what is he doing about it? As for your GC, I also question HIS judgement and expertise if he feels this is a good installation. It might be able to be made acceptable (and that's MAYBE), but BY NO MEANS, is this good work!!

If you don't eat a lot of meat these are complete proteins, Hummus & Crackers Peanut Butter Sandwich Grilled Cheese Sandwich Mexican Food (beans, rice, corn tortillas) Soy and Quinoa have complete protein in themselves But, it's no longer considered necessary to eat complementary proteins together at one sitting to make complete protein. Your body does that automatically from all the foods that you eat over the course of a day or so. Nuts & seeds are good protein sources so munching on a snall amount of trail mix is good but watch the serving size - high caloric. /t

Dottie, I'm sorry your family is going through this. I used to (many years ago) work in a pathology/histology lab at a major VA hospital, running an electron microscope. The reason path reports take so much time is that it really does take a day or more to process the tissue, to prepare it for analysis. It then must be thin-sectioned, stained, photographed, and then finally analyzed by the pathologist. Pathologist might then order more sections from a different area - yada, yada. They aren't trying to prolong your anxiety - really they aren't. But the tissues we prepared for EM took up to two days to infiltrate with the fixative, and then the resin needed to be cured before we could make the thin sections. Some tumors are instantly identifiable as malignant, but not all are. I know you are anxious for the diagnosis, but an accurate diagnosis is much more important than a quick one.
