movies you've never seen

I saw a blog about this subject on Pioneer Woman and I was thinking...

What blockbuster movie(s) have you never seen?
You know the ones if you admit to your friends they recoil in shock and horror.

"What?!, You've never seen _________?!?!"

For me, the big one is Star Wars. Not even parts of it.

Oh, have never seen any of those Sci Fi things, and non of the horror things like Halloween, Friday the 13th, etc.

But of the real biggies? I haven't seen: The African Queen, or Casablanca or The Maltese Falcon. I know I should sit down and watch them one of these days....

I never go to the movies, so it would be too many to name. I usually never see movies that were books, made into movies. I always read the book, never see the movie.

Nope - you are not the first - you are too young. We have the lady in our club who tried it 30 years ago and ended with a nice crop of mealies. If it is not mealies - I am so very glad! If you've got tomatoes on the brain but you're down, grouchy, and/or taking gardening all too seriously, rent a copy of this movie. If you've never seen it, it's a spoof of the movies 'Attack of the Killer Bees', 'The Blob' and 'Jaws', among others. Silly as hell, but some scenes are side-splitting.

The lion king. We don't have kids so never had the need to see it. Someday perhaps though.

Ditto to Star Wars, all those Freddy-type horror movies (except for Psycho). It was a very, very long time until I saw Citizen Kane. And until this past year, I held out on watching Schindler's List because I always expected it to be too overwhelming for me.

Have never seen E.T., Gone With the Wind (nor read the book, tho I know I "should"!); I've watched only the first Godfather but don't quiz me on it.

Skyfall was the first Bond movie I'd ever seen.

Back to the Future or The Big Lebowski? They've become "cult" films, but nope. And no Monty Python films (I do have 2 on my Netflix playlist, tho).

No Forrest Gump, Raiders of the Lost Ark, either.

And it's not like I never watch movies on TV or in the theater! Sometimes I get hooked on a specific actor or actress and am determined to watch everything else they were in, so maybe that's distracted me from the most popular stuff.

And I fear that "Life of Pi" might join that list: I really, really want to see it in 3D, but I'm in full-blown cold mode, so being in the theater this week isn't a good idea. And I'm sure that it's marking its final days on-screen...

Any of the Star Wars.

Have seen very few movies,so put most all of them on my list of ones I haven't seen.
Did watch Gone with the Wind finally a few months ago and The Bucket List just last night.
I prefer reading the book and not seeing the movie.

I'm not a big movie lover so there are tons I haven't seen. I'm always amused at Academy Awards time because I've rarely seen any of the movies nominated.
