Willie- I like how you have your microwave not above the stove. To tell you the truth I wouldn't have even thought of that. We have decided to just leave it as is and just have them fix the tile mess up they did. I really only use the microwave for popcorn most of the time anyway! LOL! Pat tea - Thank you! I will post it over there, thanks for the idea. DH liked the idea of trimming out the other windows so we are tossing that around. I had a friend come over this evening and she loved the mantel (sigh) and thought the white around the door looked nice! I could line up 10 people and get 10 different thoughts :-) The color in the laundry and bath rooms is Svelt Sage from Sherwin Williams and the tan color is Nomadic Dessert from Sherwin Williams. The colors look beautiful in person and the camera does not do it justice. Esp. the Svelt Sage. I LOVE it in the bathrooms :-) Thank you again for the sweet comments! Kel

Nice pics of a lovely day. You look so thrilled! One suggestion: should you post others to the forum, please consider compressing them first. Each of the ones you posted came in at 4 megabytes of space. Some poor viewers with a dialup-connection will find it takes forever to load such images; even on my DSL setup the page took a while to load. The forum instructions suggest an uploaded image should not exceed about 60 kilobytes. Almost any photo editing application, including freeware ones, will allow you to compress photos, and common compression algorithims such as .jpeg allow you to post photos that don't appear to have suffered from compression when viewed on a monitor. Of course, compress a copy, not your original. You'll want your uncompressed photos for printing at high resolution.

Hey Patty, glad to see you are still here! Not sure when or how we lost touch. I have really missed emailing and chatting with you and keeping up with all that you have been up to, sounds like some fun get aways you have gone on!!! Are you still keeping your booth at the Antique Mall where you are? I have stayed very busy over the past year (it's been 2 years this December that I started my first booth at the mall). I have had a really great time at it all and it's been overall very productive which is also good. My sales have been pretty consistant this past 12 months which really helps. I do feel pretty good about my pricing, I have always been very aware of the importance of the right pricing and even when it's tempting to drop things lower, aside from occasional sales etc, I try to keep things priced a bit higher than most others. I also have inventory that is (IMO) better than most and I take a lot of time and effort to make the pieces I work on extra special. So people are paying for custom work when they buy from me. And pretty much to date, I'm still the only one who has painted furniture, there are a few others, but they only keep one or two pieces in their booths. In the PB link, I only showed a fraction of what all I have worked on. (my photo organization is sorely lacking and it was really hard to find older pics). I'm selling anywhere from a couple to a dozen or more pieces of furniture every month, so I have to stay on top of things in order to have other pieces ready to go in when something sells. FYI: as I add new pics and b/a's I'm using that same albumn I listed above, so it should stay updated with new projects.
