how many symptoms do you get?

So I have the night sweats, and am dealing with that.

Will that be all? I haven't had any other changes in 2 months.

Should I expect more changes and take some type of natural help now? I am doing OK, because it is better to have sweats than a period.

How long can I expect this to last before it gets better, or will it get worse?

Will I really eventually lose my bladder control, my happy mood, my energy, my hair and if so, how do women who seem fine with gray hair in their 60's deal with this? Doesn't anybody do OK after or during menopause wihtout HRP?

Have you read any of the other posts? Sorry to be a killjoy but there are loads more things that could happen if you've only had night sweats for 2 months. I've had loads of different symptoms for about 7 years and I'm only? 49. On the other hand you could sail through this with only the night sweats and the odd hot flash. And you don't have to take HRT either cos there are natural remedies.I haven't lost control of my bladder or lost my hair but......oh I can't be bothered to go through all the other stuff again. The one thing that most of us try not to lose is our sense of humour (or temper)and these forums are the best places I've found to make you feel like you're not going mad when everyone else around you seems perfectly normal. One other thing you have to know is that most GPs don't link lots of symptoms with menopause and in GB they don't even use the term perimenopause. I have seen several docs over the years and most of them have looked at me as if I had a third eye when I suggest my tingling in my arm is connected to my hormones! I could go on forever but I won't, I just wanted to let you know what might happen. I hope you can keep a sense of humour and keep reading these forums cos they do help. Take care.

i lost my senior great dane girl 5 weeks ago to bone cancer. it was sudden and shocking and i still look for her. my remaining dane girl and eden were joined at the hip, pip took the loss very hard and had been grieving so much, it broke my heart. i contacted pip's breeder and one of her former co-owners and asked that they keep an eye out for any adults that any breeder friends might be considering a new home for (retired show dogs, etc.). the co-owner gave me the contact information for one of her people who had a dane boy she had been looking for just the right home for and the rest is history. meet "flighty foto my way", call name "frank". frank will be 4 years old on 5/31. he is a very sweet boy and he and pippin hit it off immediately at our meet 'n' greet friday. they do zoomies numerous times a day, sleep curled up together and are just a perfect pair. pippin is so much happier and that makes me happier. even though i miss eden terribly, i am beginning to heal now that pip is feeling better. frank is a bit on the thin side because he lived the last 4 weeks with a female dane who was going through a heat cycle and when that's going on, intact males ignore food, do a lot of pacing and fretting and routinely lose weight. he's eating like a horse so i'm confident he will gain and be back to his normal weight soon. i'm giving him a few weeks to settle in and then i'll make an appointment to have him neutered.

A lot of good advice here already. Ikea is a tricky store, we often installed Ikea for our customers in the past years. Good for rental properties, I would not put in my own home. How many phone books do you get?

I just got a white pages and a yellow pages, and tossed them directly into the recycle bin. About a week or two later got a "car" phone book, which went into recycling also - *not* into a landfill. Often I'll get another one or two from other publishers. Yellow pages are advertisement. Rates are based on distribution so if they drop unwanted ones, they get paid more. It doesn't cost much more to make more books, it's the initial runs and smaller runs that get more expensive. Plus delivery of this type is not like the mail service, UPS or FedEx. They do NOT go by address. The delivery agent gets a territory to cover and a volume of product to deliver to all the buildings in that area. They can estimate or use city maps to determine number of items needed and they usually give some extra product in case of damage. I tried out their CD rom one time and that was a joke. I look things up on the internet and print my own "phone book" when needed for the vehicle. The 2 or 3 times in my life I've needed a phone book while away from home was solved by stopping at a gas station and borrowing theirs. I also keep the library phone number in my cell so I could call them to look something up for me if I needed it. Or I could always use a "lifeline" and "phone a friend"... if I had any! :) Never saw a need for a phone book in the vehicle except for kindling or bathroom supplies while camping! There's FAR better things to carry in the vehicle IMO.

Yeah,I read all the posts, and that is just plain DEPRESSING, so that is another reason why I asked. I thought maybe there are more LUCKY women out there than all of you poor unlucky ones.

It is so discouraging to think about. Not fair...
Theh past 2 months have been great, more energy, no period, I have felt great the past 2 months. I just don't want it to end.
