MR Direct International for sinks?
Comments (15)I would absolutely be suspicious of "kristas" email. I would never buy anything from Mr. Direct after my experiences with them. They have really poor phone service. And I did end up buying faucets and sinks from two other online companies. And just so that Mr. Direct employees and family members like spouses try to attack me - I don't work for any company related to anything in design or retail or the internet(my background is computers & medical). And I work on my own house - so good luck with that angle. They go out of their way to have people's negative comments of their company removed. They have posted "suspicious" comments on other sites as well where they actually attack people who question the quality. I just can't believe they had my review removed this morning from another site. Now, I am going to go out of my way to warn people because this is just plain wrong and people should know what they are doing. One test I always do before buying from any new company is to call them and find out how their customer service is. I had a horrible experience with their non-friendly phone staff and that is what I posted as well as who I actually bought from....See MoreAnyone know who makes Mr Direct faucets?
Comments (4)Our company stocks and sells Mr. Direct sinks. We love the sinks, great quality for a great price. However, I ordered a faucet (the first one we've ever ordered) for my personal home. When I got it, I was extremely dissatisfied. The grain of the brushed finish went in several different directions, there was burn marks in some areas, and the overall quality was unacceptable. Being a supplier for them, I dont like saying things like this, but that was MY experience. They do have an excellent return policy and we have never had toruble returnign anything. I decided to just go to Home Depot and get a faucet there. This issue I had was a year and half ago, so it is very likely things have changed. If you order a faucet and are unhappy with it, I find it highly unlikey you will run into any trouble exchanging or returning it....See MoreExperiences Ordering a Sink On-line
Comments (19)Thx all for the great advice. I live very near Taps in Mississauga and feel their prices are high. Interesting that no has experience with the company I noted above. I am confused by zfrankle comment about quality and not being such a good buy. These sinks are 16 gauge heavy duty certified 304 series 18/10 CrNi (Chromium Nickel) stainless steel; sound dampened with sprayed sound proof coating and an additional thick rubber sound proof pad, which I understood were professional grade and the highest quality. That's why I thought the price was so good. Hmm...now I'm confused. Is the comment about quality based on the fact that they are not a brand name, or is it based on specs?...See Moreanyone bought from MR Direct sinks recently?
Comments (3)I purchased both my main sink and prep sink from them. They were wonderful. I had questions, so I called them and they took the time to make sure that all of my questions were answered. Delivery was fast. My main sink came damaged and when I looked on the web site it was no longer listed. When I called they told me not to worry they would send one right out - they apparently keep extra stock just in case the sinks are damaged in transit. UPS came the next day to pick up the damaged sink and the new one arrived shortly thereafter. The sinks look great (except that the contractors scratched my main sink - I am going to call them on Monday to see what they suggest to use to remove the scratches - I am not too optimistic the scratches are pretty deep). Silly me - I hadn't put the sink grate in during construction......See Moreloracdmt
