I agree with ABC that this, so far, is the best season ever. And by that they, and I, mean that the first week all of the "stars" did a very decent dance. Some of them were really, really good, and no one "sucked." This week, for their second dances, some of them didn't do as well (got out of sync with their partner, missed steps, etc.), but overall, the caliber of dancing was what we never saw until at least the 5th week in previous seasons. Jack Wagner played Frisco on General Hospital for many years. He also had a #1 hit with his song You're All I Need, and he had a few other hits, too, although I don't think any of the others got to #1. He was also on Melrose Place for several years, which is where most people know him from. When he was on GH, he fell in love with his on-screen girlfriend-then-wife, and they married in real life and had two sons together. Eventually they divorced, and when he was on Melrose Place he got involved with Heather Locklear. They've been together for many years now, and recently got engaged and then broke the engagement. I don't know if they're still seeing each other or not. Melissa Gilbert started on Little House on the Prarie when she was just a little bitty thing. I don't know what she's done other than that, but she's best known for LHoTP. Donald Driver would be familiar to folks who are into football, especially if you follow the Packers. William Levy is, as noted above, a star on Telenova, which is a Spanish-speaking network. I think he was pretty much unknown to the majority of the USA until Monday night last week. :-) He looks, to me, quite a bit like Ricky Martin. This week's show had a lot of camera shots of William's wife and son in the audience. Sherri Shepherd, for those who have never seen The View, might know her from the Stephanie Plum movie One for the Money -- she portrayed Lula, the hooker-turned-file clerk. Katherine Jenkins is a classical singer who performed on one of the DWTS results shows last season or the season before. She has a beautiful voice (go to Amazon.com and listen to samples of the songs on her albums), a beautiful face, and a great body. I was very impressed by how well she did in both of her dances. Gavin DeGraw -- I'd never heard of him before this season of DWTS! I'm not terribly impressed with his dancing so far, either. Don't think he'll last very long. Martina Navratilova is someone who should be familiar to anyone who follows pro tennis, although she's been retired for a while now. She did a lot better than I expected on her first dance, but she messed up this week. I give her kudos for even venturing to do this show. Roshon Fegan is another one whom I'd never heard of, but I don't watch the Disney channel, and don't have nieces/nephews or grand/nieces or nephews in the right age range to be ga-ga over him. I was surpised this week that he managed to keep the hip hop out of his dance routine. Maria Menounos is a host of one of those entertainment-news type shows, although I'm not sure which one. She does have a horrible laugh, though, doesn't she? I've had one broken rib and I know all too well how painful it was, so I can't imagine doing those routines with two broken ribs! Ouch! Kudos to her for even attempting it!! Jaleel White has, I think, been pretty much out of the public eye for quite a while and is best known for being the nerdy/goofy character named Urkel many years ago when he was just a kid. He did a great dance last week, but I agreed with the judges this week that his second dance wasn't as good as his first. Glady Knight -- everyone should be familiar with Gladys Knight and the Pips! I predict that she'll continue on the show for many weeks, but won't make it anywhere near the finals.

Yes, I liked Samantha Harris the best....I think she left to stay home with her baby? Remember they had Cloris Leachman on...she was better than Billy Dee but of course couldnt move like the young ones. She was a hoot though...she called Brooke stupid to her face because Brooke couldnt add the scores...maybe not very kind, but come on...she couldnt add 9, 8, 9...that's when Carrie Ann started writing the total and giving it to someone to run it up to her. Looks like they are doing the same for Erin.

I was not impressed. It looked like amateur hour. I know they will improve, but compared to two seasons ago when Donald Driver won, this was horrible. I thought Kelli Pickler did a great job and I really like her because of all the time she puts into entertaining the troops overseas. Her dance partner, Derek, is like an irritating fly. He needs some xanax. I thought Lisa from BH housewives did better than I expected and she is really very funny. Lose the dog, though. I know Giggy never leaves her side, but seriously? Not on a dance show. Wynnona was embarrassing. The "sexy" looks she was giving the judges during their critique were over the top and I couldn't help thinking she looks like a Las Vegas tranny. Hopefully she will last long enough to lose some weight. I wish Andy Dick success with his sobriety, but terrible dancing. Jocoby was awful, and really thinks highly of himself. Irritating personality. Zendaya was great, but I have no idea who she is. That's all I can remember now. Thank goodness they will all improve. Oh, and I almost didn't recognize Cheryl. Awful hair and she looks pudgy.
