There is a 20 year old male college student missing in my town. I hope both the woman in your town and the young man in my town are found alive.

Dinkie I think that it never hurts to report something that just doesn't feel right to you. After reading your post several times there were several "red flags" that could make you feel that something wasn't quite right. And it never hurts to report things like that. The officer you talk to is going to write a note about your call and you just never know when it might fit in to something they are investigating. Believe me you are not wasting their time; you might be giving them needed information.

Is she married ?....usually it turns out to be the husband.

Older men seem to prefer big, heavy cars....not unusual for an elderly man to drive a Caddy.

A 58 yr old woman, friend of mine is missing here since Nov 6. They searched a property in last couple weeks and dug up a pickup bed which they confiscated along with a tractor. She was forceably taken from her home and her denture was found near where a struggle was presumed to have taken place not far from her house. A cap and money clip were found nearby. I am hoping that there is an answer soon to this, it makes me ill thinking about what she may have went through. There is a $50,000 reward, but no arrests have been made as of yet.
There is also an elderly couple from our town missing since about Sept. They left to go to a yard sale and never returned.
It scared me to think what is happening to people, that they could disappear.
I signed up for the Family Map with our ATT cell phones that locates your phones. The day I tried it, I pinged my son's to see how it works, and it showed it slightly east of the MIDDLE OF THE MISSOURI RIVER...how's that for a secure feeling...he was at his girlfriends house 10 blocks from there, asking me why his phone just did that....

All of these stories, and the many more that are out there about people that go missing are a good reminder to everyone to make sure your GPS signal on your cell phone IS activated. In some cases it could be a lifesaver - if you don't know how to check it, ask someone today that does know!

I hope she is found soon.
A man, aged 74, took his dog to the park two days before Christmas and never came home. He was said to have mild dementia.
A month to the day he didn't come home, his dog was found about 60 miles away and then the next day, his truck was found about 30 miles from there. I feel so sad for his family.
Also, a year ago Christmas time an elderly man who had dementia got out of his son's car near a shopping center and has never been found.

There was a college student who went missing in my home town several years ago...they found her remains near my brothers home...no killer has ever been caught...it's been over 30 years..I can not fathom how her poor parents must feel...they had some closure cause they had a body to bury...but not to have ever found the monster who killed her must weigh heavy in their hearts...

Yes, I would quietly talk to the law enforcement about your experience, but not at the station or your home. It sounds like someone local who could be watching other people. Have a plain clothes person meet you for a cup of coffee, at a gas station etc, but do report your experience. Every bit helps. Before you do, try to write the details down, day, approx time, description of car etc.
And sad to say some older people do have strange ways. Especially if they have a loss in the family and can't quite cope with things.

But I'm a little puzzled at your reference to the man in the Cadillac. Elderly people ARE the ones who DO drive those yachts, in my area. Very popular car with the elderly. I'm not saying the guy was on the up and up--you were there, you have more of a feeling for whether he had evil intentions or was just confused and thought he knew you, but I can't see that the car was anything at all unusual. Also, it seems to me, that anyone with half a brain, who was intent upon foul play would have booked out of the area, once they'd failed to lure their intended victim. Yet you saw him parked at a bank, in the same parking lot where you both turned in. Sounds to me, as if he was just a regular guy, with a big car, who was on his way to the bank, and saw someone he thought he knew, and stopped to say 'hello', then continued with his regular errands. But that's just based on your account--not gut feelings that you would have had--those should never be ignored, in my experience.

I meant I have a cadillac escalade ,I once had another cadillac. it said cadilac but Ive never seen this one,it was fancy.,IT just seemed odd ,something seemed so out of place,he really didnt even get a good look at me how he figured he knew me.I was not gonna go to the car.

She wasnt sitting in a stream,she was last seen sitting in her car in the alley behind her home talking on cell phone.They found the phone in a nearby stream.......

This is happening in so many places lately, it seems. Or maybe this happened in the past to this extent but there's so much publicity nowadays when they occur.

The dementia cases really get to me: They just don't have a chance, sometimes--they wander out without proper coats and such, they just keep walking, and probably the farther they walk, the more impatient and angry at themselves they get.

It's so very sad when some of these people end up being found in small rivers or streams (as has happened in my very suburban area).
