I do not like TV's over fire places because of the angle of eye view. Take a chair where you will sit and look at the TV height on the wall.You will see you are looking UP which is a tiring. Then too, if you later upgrade to a bigger screen will it fit?? Just some thoughts.

thanks angel &Paint chips The "box" is not a box rather a plate that the electrician, by law has to put over live wires that were buried in the wall & he couldn't access w/o ripping out a lot of plaster. I don't think I have the option or want to go through the hassle of electrifying - rather convert these if I go w/them Yes, they do look rustic but I do see beauty beneath the surface. If I do keep them I would get them back to the orig finish as best I can - It seems to really rub off and there is brass surface.

Tudorista, I'd send an email to the 20th Century Lighting people to see if they might have anything still available. I would definitely make cardboard mockups of whatever fixtures you're interested in, using whatever mirror will be the "forever mirror", for an idea of scale. As a rule, one wants to avoid undersized, dinky fixtures. But with Tudor style, one needs to be careful with anything oversized, to avoid having a living room resemble the great hall in a Robin Hood movie.

I think you'll want to buy two mirrors and three sconces. The balance will work out much better being able to have one above each sink. Furthermore, I would propose getting three lights as that will probably help with ensuring you have more evenly spread lighting to work with in the mirrors. I realize this bathroom vanity is longer but it does have the two mirrors and three lights. Definitely our preference when building.
