Kandt, If you are able to choose exactly which colour to paint your cabinets, then I would match the trim. Do you have trim existing? Will you be replacing/repainting all the doors/trim in your house? We are completely renovating our craftsman style house from top to bottom- so I am painting everything with the same white Benjamin Moore cloud white. It's white with just a hint of cream in it. Was even able to match my wood blinds to it as it's so popular many manufacturers have very similar tones. (By the way my kitchen cabinets are stained- but the trim will remain white- except for the crown molding over the cupboards- will then do white CM everywhere else.) Having said that- we are having a vanity custom made- but I think it will be a brighter white than the cloud white. I think in that bathroom, I will adjust the trim to match the vanity- but I'll wait until all the fixtures are in, and make the final decision then.

Ok thanks. But here's the thing. I don't want a cream kitchen. I want white - but not stark, antiseptic white. Shiloh's polar white is just that. It's definitely creamy, but not ivory. I guess I'll have to wait to bring a sample cabinet into my home but I'm pretty set on that color cabinet (I think it'll work very well with the imperial danby and walnut countertops that I want) and I don't think we're going to be willing to repaint all the trim that we just painted!

Well, I don't have exactly for what you're looking but I do have a (mostly) white kitchen with (white) marble atop the white cabs: I love it! I love the white on white and find it incredibly soothing, timeless and easy on the eye (not so much contrast). But that's me. I also appreciate ccombs1' point but it makes me think of ahneb's kitchen (never posted a finished kitchen so don't bother looking in the FKB -- instead, do a search on GW). She has creamy cabs and a white marble. Also, do a search for erikanh: she's posted lots of beautiful inspiration pictures with creamy / white cabs and white marble .... (just did a search and here's the link to ahneb's photos.) But before you decide on a white marble, do first look at your fabricator's remnants -- you never know what gem you might find! (By the way, I love Virginia Mist -- it is so pretty!)

I wouldn’t go with the creamy white. As you can see in your photos, whites when next to each other, can look so different. I painted a condo in SW Alabaster White and although it’s subtle, the white on my cabinets and the while on the walls do not match. Here’s a photo of my kitchen so you can see what I mean.
