Joann, that sucks that your yahoo is acting up again. Mine has been working fine since that glitch last week that was spread over a large geographical area.

I checked my Spam folder, and I can check a message and then the Not Spam tab fine.

Or open it and read it, and move to inbox.

It must be me, I have a Gmail account which I don't use, because I don't like it. I want to stick with yahoo.

I use Thunderbird as the email application on my computer- you can use any email service with Thunderbird - it just makes it SO simple and easy to use on your computer.

Thunderbird is put out by the same people that do the Firefox browser.

If you liked using Outlook Express - it is a similar experience.

I have a gmail~~for close friends and family and hotmail~for when someone asks you for your email and when I go on sites and want to recieve alerts from them they go here., I like both~~I also have yahoo, I just used it to make a second FB page to put quotes and pictures in~so I do not know about the problems you are having with it, altho I do not find it as user friendly as my other two.

I like both of them.

I don't have any problem with Yahoo but I opted to keep the basic instead of going to the new Yahoo.
I think you can go back to the basic Yahoo.

Sorry you had trouble with your yahoo email. As jasdip describes, both the Not Spam and Move functions work fine for me. Did you try reloading your inbox view?

I find the screen layout of message streams in gmail hard to read. But mainly, my biggest complaint with gmail is that the native Android app (which is required) has only a non-switchable conversation view. If you like that, you're happy with it. If not, you use a third party mail app.

I think most of the email providers are ultimately more similar than not. All have glitches from time to time. There was a time a few months ago I couldn't access gmail for about 24 hours. It's true that Yahoo has been particularly snakebit in the past year.

I have been using Hotmail for many many years with very little problems and very little spam, I like it best of the free email.
I also have accounts at Gmail, inbox.com , gmx.com, yahoo, Juno, etc. You can have as many as you like try a few out and find one you like.
Many people I have suggested gmx.com to love it, it's very easy to use and I never get spam there. It reminds me of the old outlook express style.

I have used AOL for over 10 years.not a single problem, and their SPAM function automatically sends unwanted mail into a separate in.box that I can scan thru and make sure it is unwanted, and, delete.
