I'll just toss some recent (LOL, taken this morning) picture to the mix. My camera was sitting on the slushy road surface for this picture.

I recently was able to get a picture of a pileated woodpecker too. I have only seen them in my neighborhood a few times and this time he came to my tree. By the time I went in and got my camera, he was in a neighbor's tree, but I was still able to get a picture of him.

I don't have a San Juan, but a have a picture of Santo Tomas de Castilla, a port our ship docked at that was mostly a cargo port as this panorama shows. Click for larger image.

A walkway along the waters edge on the north-east side of the island of Madeira. You can see how big the splash of the wave is compared to the people on the walkway. Our tour guide said he'd show us the walkway, but wouldn't let us walk it. I guess he didn't want a mini-bus full of dripping wet tourists.
