Thanks everyone for your warm thoughts, good wishes and prayers. And I loved all the beautiful pictures.

Unfortunately I am still in the dark. When I was sitting in the exam room, I just found out this doctor does not do bone biopsies. My GP sent me to the wrong specialist!!!

I have to go up to Standford Hospital and see a bone cancer specialist and this time it will be surgery with me knocked out. Also found out with bone cancer they don't like to do needle biopsies because of contamination of the cancer cells in local area. So they go in and dig it out with a scalpel. They want to remove the whole tumor.

Just called the Stanford specialist and he is booked up till the end of March. So it continues. I will just be sitting on pins and needles for the next month.

I'm so sorry you're going through this worry, Clare. Stanford is a good place to be, and perhaps they will be able to fit you in earlier if they have a cancellation. Did you ask to be on a wait list, if that is a possibility? I too will be praying for you.

I'm very sorry you weren't able to get going on this Clare. Sounds like this next doctor is the one to see however. Prayers and good thoughts for sure.
