Poor babies, that is an adorable face. Hope she's continuing to fight. More prayers coming their way. Can't we consider that animal cruelty ? to keep on having puppies knowing that Parvo is in the soil ? Doesn't it stay viable for years ? I have little patience or respect for folks like them. Used to you could buy the puppy shots at places like Gebos for about $3. a vial, don't know what the price is now but it's something everyone thinking about having puppies should look into & learn how to give. GRRRR I'm like Sally, somebody slap some sense into them. Barb, you're a hoot but I can understand how you feel. Missy our Lab had an appt for Spaying but jumped the fence went to the neighbor's jumped his fence to play with his Great Dane. Later with 9 puppies we were both a wreck. I cried when each one got a new home & then cried when they were all gone cause it was so nice & quiet without them. Missy never liked small dogs after that, thought they might want to nurse I guess. Hi all, Ernie is finally better! PK, no offense taken at all, that was funny! I wanted to wait before posting to be sure he really was finally on the mend. I had the vet give me some appetite enhancer pills, and boy did they work! I only had to give him one and then one half and he was back to eating. Now he's spoiled rotten with my mother giving him tuna all the time. He gazes up at her in the kitchen and squeeks his little meow and she is supposed to give him tuna. I told her only one time a week, he doesn't ***NEED*** tuna. heh heh Upon getting well from the first thing, he promptly got a sneeze, but that doesn't bother me and he's about over it. I also got sick and have gone through two bottles of cough syrup. Thank you so much for all your prayers and comments and good thoughts, I really really appreciate it! Julie

Thanks. My other brother called after David came home from the appointment. He is already looking for another spaniel. He said something about the vet knowing someone who had some. I'm glad he's getting another dog. He lives alone and Brutis was the only other one in the house with him. ) :

Have been saying prayers for them too- along with plenty for all the other folks on the Gulf coast. No telling which area may be hardest hit. While N. O. was horribly affected by Katrina, the Mississippi folks are still suffering from it as well. We've seen the power of KT prayers over 'n over here, so what cha' say we all lift bundles of 'em high?
