Hard to believe that it's time for the new Survivor already.

Thursday Feb 7.

And oh my heavens it's Jonny Fairplay! LOL

Well, Susan, you're in luck, both are starting soon! I think Survivor teams are pretty formulaic, they always seem to pick a busty couple of young ladies, a hunky guy or two, an older man, a gay person, a black person, an Oriental person, an athlete, a nerd, etc. And then add in personalities and we have a SHOW! lolol I'm excited, Thursday nights will be fun and I hope TAR is on on Sundays again.

It's my understanding that because there is such a division in the age groups (younger team is 30 or younger, older team is 40 and over), the challenges this season aren't going to all be physical, because that would give an obvious and huge advantage to the younger team. The challenges are going to be more of the mental variety, which we saw in this week's challenge -- which team can put together the best system for transferring the water into the bucket, and which team can figure out the puzzle the quickest. I know the younger team is feeling very smug right now, thinking that they "have the upper hand" with challenges because they think the challenges are all going to be physical. I think (hope) they'll be in for a surprise.

I agree I thought I was at the Lisa show I was waiting for her to start issuing blessings to the crowd! Way too much time on her. I was surprised she won the sprint money. I did think it was funny when abi asked Jeff "did you watch the show" lol I think she had a reality check. I almost didn't recognize Penner wow he cleaned up nicely. I too think all votes should be shown and show who voted for who like the other tribals. I am happy Denise won, I was a little sad for Skupin, he really pulled it out and played a good game once he got past all the injuries and bleeding lol. All in all it was a good entertaining season. Will be interesting to see who returns next season, I predict Malcolm will return at some point since Jeff so pointedly, asked him. I still think Jeff the ball player is a jerk. Sounded like his closing comments may have come back to haunt him by the comment he made, would serve him right. I wish Jeff's wife had come out and byotch slapped that Dawson girl when she went running to Jeff for that kiss. I was happy Jeff said his wife's were much better!

I was not a fan of the top 3,but I would have picked Tyson over the others. I think Monica is so worried about her famous husband leaving her for a younger prettier model of plastic that she is desperately trying anything to keep the attention, trying to be the Young co ed etc. But saying repeatedly that she made him was not a smart move and I bet she heard about it from Big Bad Brad. Gervais doesn't deserve a mention just like he didn't deserve a vote. Floater period. Kat never makes any sense, and to go get boobs to try to keep Hayden is just desperate and sad. But that's what she is. I did notice Hayden never replied to Jeff's questions about if they are still a couple, and she scrambled to say how far apart they live. I think Hayden smelled the coffee! That girl is needy times 3! RUN HAYDEN RUN! lol Over all a decent season. Not sure what Brawns, Beauty, And Brains will be like but it should be different. Have no idea where it is being played, need to Google that name. I certainly didn't miss the tribute walk all I ever got from that was a view of the beautiful scenery of the location.

I hated Johnny Fairplay the first time around. Hoping he gets voted off QUICKLY.

We will be watching. At least it'll give us something for Thursday night, the pickings have been slim since the last one ended.

Thanks for the heads-up, Jenni. I didn't realize it was almost upon us.

How on EARTH did Johnny Fairplay qualify as a "favorite"? I thought he was one of the most hated ones? Now RUPERT- I could understand that choice, I would love to see him play again. Or that fireman, Tom (I think that was his name.) Anyone but Johnny.

Count me in both Survivor and Big Brother. With this writer stike there has been nothing on. These are my 2 favorite reality shows.

I am hooked on both Survivor and BB. Going to tape the show on the 7th as I have a late meeting. I'm OK with that because DH and I like to watch without commercials.

If Fairplay lasts more than a week or two, I'll know the show is fixed. Everyone knows what creep he is.
