Cup Pulls - Pics Please

I'm looking for pictures of WHERE you put the cup pulls on drawers and the trash pull out. We'll have recessed panel cabs with a simple 'frame' around it (does that make sense??)- and I'm not sure if cup pulls should be in the center of the drawer or on the upper part of the 'frame'. I was thinking the center of the drawer, but I'll be using a pull for our trash cabinet....since that looks like a door, it would be weird to put it in the middle...ACK!

i have mine in the center of my drawers.

For my drawers, the pulls are in the middle recessed part.

I have 3 pull-outs (trash/recycling, spice pull-out and under-counter pantry pull-out) where the pulls are at the top on the outside "frame" part (above the recessed area).

1.5" high, 3" wide, and here's a (grainy) pic to help. Look at the cup pull in the bottom right of this pic. I have narrow stiles (I think that's the word -- the raised part on a classic Shaker cab, although mine aren't classic). I wanted a cup pull on the trash pullout located immediately left of the sink, although in retrospect perhaps a bar pull would have been better, because it takes up the whole stile.

Here's a pic of the Gilmore 3" pull on our dinning room buffet. The drawer is about 19". Below, is a pic of the 3" pull when I was considering it for my kitchen drawers. I ended up using a different pull. This drawer is about 11 3/4". This final pic I have is a 4" pull. I can't remember which kitchen drawer I was holding it up to. It's between 18" - 23". Looks closer to 18".

Hello, I have chosen cup pulls for the drawers and small knobs (25mm) for the cabinets. But I am not sure what to do for the panneled dishwasher and the panneled fridge.. My questions are: *Is the cup handle comfortable enough to open the dishwasher? *Would it be ok to use a bigger knob for the fridge (38mm) and the pantry next to it? .And what about using handles for these two ? Note : My kitchen is small to American standards , 3 drawers, cabinet under sink, dishwasher , single cabintet, in one wall then one cabinet, oven and mico with cabinet, fridge and pantry. The an island with 2 sets of 3 drawers and bin cabinet Thanks a lot!!! P

I don't have nickel but I've purchased the brass and black from them and the photos on their site are really true to what the product looks like. How the finish looks in your room's particular light, however... that's another story. I would suggest just ordering the pulls. If you need many, get the minimum for free shipping. Then order the rest. If it doesn't work out, it's easy to return. IMO, I would go with polished nickel if you're between the two. It will blend better with finishes from other brands.

i went through my "file folder"...stuff I like and keep clips of...these are what I think you're thinking about...I have similar cabinets and I decided on knobs in the frame part...but I would put pulls in the center of the drawers

(That last photo above also shows a cup pull on a frame, on what I guess is the dishwasher.)

Make sure to stand there and pretend to open the drawer, and see how comfortable the height is. This one was on a slab front, so it didn't matter

but this one was on a framed front, and it would have been too low to reach had we put it into the middle. So we put the pulls on the frame. (Different handles, too, on these, so hard to compare. But it illustrates the point of making sure it's a comfortable height and you don't have to bend down to open the trash.)
