2nd floor:electrol eiflw55hiw vs. whirlpool duet 9500 (wfw9500tw)

I am deciding between the Electrolux EIFLW55HIW ($1099 less $75 rebate)and the Whirlpool Duet 9500 series (WFW9500TW)($1025) for second floor installation.

I've heard that the Electrolux is quietest and w/ least vibration for second floor use. It is also larger than the Whirlpool (4.7 vs. 4.2). However, I am not sold on the Electrolux automatic touch door. It looks like it might have problems in the future (sticking or not closing properly). Also-- the whirlpool has steam in the washer and dryer, while the Electrolux does not. But I just read here about some problems with the Whirlpool Duet and musty smelling towels. Any ideas?

A washer tech who frequents the Consumer Reports forum (but is not associated with CR) recommends two frontloaders for upper floors: Samsung with VRT (Vibration Reduction Technology) and LG with the square door.

I own a Maytag Bravos w/d pair -- the washer is an HE TL. People have said Bravos also is very, very good on upper floors -- no vibration at all.
