Does anyone know of a Kitchen remodel contest?

I re-did my kitchen for under $10,000- builder golden oak cabinets to French country beautiful- When I figure out how to load my photos on here I will-my friends say to enter it in a contest because so many people have these cabinets and are tired of them. Any ideas?Thank you in advance.

I don't know of one other than what might be in some magazines (like BH&G, maybe?). But wouldn't that be great? So many of us here on this forum have done precisely what you've done, made a silk purse out of a sow's ear, and based on the gorgeous kitchens I've seen here, GW would have a corner on the winners!

The upper utensil is a Rosette iron. It is dipped in batter, and then the working end is lowered into hot grease and it makes a wonderful cookie-like dessert. I'm sure more than one country has their own name for this but we just called them Rosette irons. The second item is a simple tea strainer. I've used these until adulthood when loose leaf tea was no longer mainstream. We steeped the tea in a pot and then poured it through the wire strainer into a tea pot. The last item is an egg beater

I have a similar color in my kitchen...it is rye grass by berh mixed in BM. It is nor quite as yellow as the inspiration pic in this shot but sometimes it looks just like your inspiration. Here is ryegrass.

I like my Kobe hood. It has baffles. It's pretty quiet and easy to clean. Have you searched on Appliances Forum? There are lots of discussions and personal reviews over there. Electrolux wall ovens with Wave Touch are considered by many to be a good mid-range choice. I have one, and I love it. The combo/speed ovens that people tend to like are Advantium 240 or Miele.

Mama Goose - Thank you so much! I also learned a new trick today. I narrowed down that this was a concept kitchen of KitchenAid. There was another concept kitchen on the Jenn-Air sight. Sadly - neither mentioned the cabinet maker - though the jennair.ca website had better images to see the cabinet door style. http://www.jennair.ca/cabinetry/ Maybe it is a Canadian cabinet maker. I'm still hunting, but wanted to say thank you for the excellent tip!

that's what I thought too-there are amazing transformations on this site -surely someone has entered a contest- all I can find is contest to win a remodel-thanks
